I havent watch this film yet but judging by this scene I would say it is actually scary. To induce horror from the viewers, one must think that it is not necessary to put a ghost around the corner looking at the protagonist with malice. It doesn't need to have an unnerving face nor smiling. This scene captured the very corners of the uncanny. The girl witnessing a silhouette of a human dancing inside the house is what made this scene riddled with the uncanny. The girl was aware that the silhouette she saw was not of human, yet half of her thought believes that it is indeed a human. It's dancing as if a human would when listening to music. Yet, a human shouldn't appear out of nowhere and start waltzing. Not to mention, the silhouette is actually mimicking what a human would.

Another good deployment of the horror here is the subtlety of the motion. The viewer knows there will be something scary here, the motion of the camera across the hallway following the lady is a good sign for the viewer that a jumpscare is about to come. The confinement of the house is what makes the viewers "unsafe" and seeing the lady comes out of it and see daylight makes them think that the horror is not coming. But as soon as she peered from the window that's when the subtle horror started to question what the viewer witnessed. Witnessing "ghost" or evil spirit in real life isn't something that will make you paralyzed in fear. Your first train of thought is to question what you had just witnessed. You're thinking to yourself whether the thing you saw was your imagination playing tricks on you or some supernatural shit went down.
