I’m not gonna lie but Nintendo releasing Super Mario Bros. 35 just a year after Cease and Desisting InfernoPlus’ project is both hypocritical and a total dick move by them.

okay my proposal is to rebrand project m.

This means making new character designs, dropping the Super Smash Bros name, and so on.

I say this because Nintendo simply doesn't trust us using their IP. That is the primary reason fan projects that have to do with Nintendo stuff like project m get shut down, but stuff like Sonic's Speed Course (a Kirby's Dream Course fan game, but using Sonic) doesn't.

They shut down only the fan remakes of already existing games
