OMG thank you. I had no hopes for my daughter tablet but now i managed to do it, it took couple times and had to connect it to a computer by reading comments.

Make sure you're plugged into a computer while you follow the instructions.

Why can't you reset these? I bought mine legally and don't remember my passwords so wtf am I supposed to do lmao

I successfully did the reset but once I get to the last setup screen, it ask me to input my pin to verify my identity.. someone help

mine just goes right to the samsung part of the screen i can't get to the factory settings

did not work until I connected it via USB to a PC, then followed the instructions without issue.

Samsung tab S6/lite do it by connecting the charger cable to pc. Works in the first try itself.

My daughter's tab jammed and the method holding volume up forced the restart!!! Thanks man. Just saved 400$!!!!

Samsung is the worst company ever. Just because it has consistently scored zero on reliability. Obviously it has lots of features but then again with a reliability of zero, it's overall score for becomes zero. For e. g. Someone's girlfriend looks like a a supermodel, talented af, very polite, very popular but guess what she wanna do threesome with different guys thrice a week. So this will make her every positive point a big ZERO.

People!!!!... I tried numerous times trying to reset my S6 lite until I plugged it into my Surface Pro. Once I did that it only took a couple times to get to the reset screen! Good luck!

It worked for me, but only connected to a laptop.

Turn off you tab, then plug in with pc, then you will see charging sign, then press the start and volume up button and then you will get it

But like- when it factory resets and tells me to put the wifi then after it tells me to put the pasword i forgot wich is the whole reson i factory reset so i couldnt factory reset someone tell me and yes i plug into a laptop!
