I love the weather in Rust I always thought it needs to rain more in Rust because it feels like I would only see one or two rain storms on a whole month wipe I hope it's once every couple of in-game days now

I absolutely HATE the turret limit on modded servers.

That rail slope going underground gives me anxiety. That degree of slope is obscene!
I hope they fix that, the slope should be extremely gradual.

I can't wait for them to take 60 percent of the cheaters out of rust so its actually playable again! Oh wait that still isn't happening, maybe next year....

From snow machines i got idea for rust. Fog machines cover outside of your base with fog. So that unsuspected person can't peak your base until he is in range of your turrets. Leaving only choice to blow his way in or fly in. Fence climbing and jump ins has been meta for too long. If they nerf turrets they should also make them more effective by giving them some cover. Y would still be able to destroy them, but after fog machine it would them be more hit and miss. Would help little agains those pesky offliners.

Now Rust 2 coming out next year - so telling me they probably going make me rebuy the game for 40 f*ckin bucks and all my old skins from orginal rust game wont transfer??? PS - even steam stats show since July ...average player base loose is around 23,000 players! Maybe if they loose another 20,000, face punch will start to panic and start listening to the player base!

Something tells me this won't lead to a reduction in turret spam, but a smarter application of it, with inner layers of turrets becoming active as outer ones are disabled

I would love to be able to create a base in the underground tunnels, using the trains as your exit/e/entry vehicle - maybe adding a code lock to trains??
Bit like the old Garrys Mod maps with the sewers, I'd love to be able to live underground in a massive open space.
Just wishful thinking.

i say the best tutorial for rust is joining those eu pop servers where you get domed every second. best way to see if your are mentally cut out for rust. the emotional abuse is nostalgic.

The wounded guy in tutorial should have an obnoxious shaking teenager voice yelling on repeat: "omg you're so baaad, you missed some of your shots omg so baad, so baaaaaaad"

Big suprise reduce auto turrets but do nothing to reduce the subhuman cheaters who nest interupted in Rust what a load of garbage

I have a question I have a lot of skins if they make a rust 2 what happens I'm out thousands of dollars? Or would they transfer? I'm scared to buy them now 😮

Screw taking trains to the underground when you can take a car with storage modules and camper instead....
1 trip and you will be done with the wipe and have to look for another server to find something to do lmao


Best way to counter it would be to make a special mine that can be placed on train tracks... and when a train or car drivers over it they should become no longer driveable and half the loot should instantly despawn to punish horders

They just need to get rid of the underground network completely. Nobody uses it, nobody is going to use it. Just add spurs to monuments if you want the above ground network to be a transportation network. Maybe add some more to do with it, such as load at the excavator and take it to the railyard. Take empty cars to the junkyard and scrap them for scrap and metal.

rust holds a special place in my heart i wish i still had time to play it

The respawn nerfing for tugboats too close to oil rig is a bit disappointing.

The ideal form of the tutorial island would include a "freeplay" mode after the tutorial is completed.

Anyone notice the date in the thumbnail is wrong.

The limited turrets comes directly from console it was a resource reason for the limit but it ended up having a really good effect on turret balance

Holy cow Pc rust looks so good, the weather looks amazing too, I hope ps5 rust can get to this, Don't mind rust hitting up to 50 gigs ngl.

Sweet now just have to push tug into the zone and should give me plenty of time to raid them.
