I saw everyones comments about audio problems from the last video. I reworked the entire capturing method so please let me know if this setup works better!

No airdrop, no iMessage, no FaceTime. Or else I would try android again but those 3 especially airdrop would cripple my workflow.

I have switched back and forth between Apple and Samsung. And for the last 4 years stuck with Samsung. I will give it to Apple that their products are quality but Samsung just allow me to be more expressive with making my devices mine. It'd that's freedom feeling. But both eco systems are very good.

I have been with apple for 6 years.. before that, i was team galaxy note every year from middle school to high school. I am about to switch back to galaxy and gwt the tab s9+.. My school work was done on a ipad so the tab s9 should still be good. Im tired of the boring apple ecosystem.. But i will say apple does have better cases.

Imo, apple products just feel more quality and have a better look. That’s what keeps me with apple.

Fantastic video. I for one used to be a die hard Android user but switched to Apple due to hard ware longevity and support. I also work in the wireless industry and I’m constantly helping people with their phones. I have to say that sadly majority of people who have damaged phones due to hard issues, or people who get so much add ware making their phones unusable seems to happen more often on android devices. Apple’s walled garden while having some annoyances really shines by protecting its users from most of the junk and adware that’s all over the play store. Apple in my opinion is far more secure than android. But by far the biggest reason I will probably never switch to android is the device support and hard ware longevity. Apples devices seem to last longer and are supported for far longer than most android manufacturers.

I am really hoping the goverment does the same thing with iMessage as they did with USB C. There is no reason Apple should be allowed to gate keep messaging like that, every phone should communicate the same way.

I've made a similar video like this. iMessage was the biggest pain point for me too and I HATE the fact that it exists the way it does. If there was seamless RCS messaging between iOS and Android I would likely have been using Android all this time.

I tend to jump back and forth between Apple and android. I prefer android by a long shot but sometimes I end up missing how Apple products feel. I currently have an S21 and I love it. The only thing I wish I could do is not break the group chats. That’s the only thing I don’t like.

Man, I know so many people who are leaving the Apple Ecosystem lately. And then I see this video tonight. I have no update anything in years. I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max that still works fine. And older Apple Watch that I despise because the sensors do not work with heavily tattooed people. And I have an iPad Pro from Procreate because I am an artist. But if Google ever got their Ecosystem up to par I would jump. It just isn't there yet. But I will keep holding out hope.

Apple's refusal to support RCS is the reason messages between the 2 systems falls back to SMS. I wish the carriers would just turn SMS off forcing Apple to support it!

I think ppl, specially from first world countries don’t understand that the majority of the world buys Apple not because they think is the best but it’s the best for your money. Literally here in Brazil I can today, 2023 find and old iPhone 6s being sell for half of a full month minimum wage. Apple retains value so much here that when I have money to spend I 100% will buy an apple device cause I can sell it back for almost the same (if not more) that I pay for. Everybody knows “Apple is expensive” but when I comes to android, on the eye of the public an galaxy s8 is the same as a galaxy s23 cause in few years they lose absurd amount of value in resale.

The biggest problem with iPhone series since iPhone 11 is that they are catered mainly for photographers and videographers. It has become less budget friendly and the innovation has gone nowhere except for the cameras. Those who wants an everyday phone, with basic purposes, they are better off with other brands (e.g. Samsung Galaxy). The peak of iPhone was the iPhone 13 Pro. That's quite sad.

Apple don't have a monopoly in text messaging in USA. It is because of idiots who are reluctant to download a simple messaging app. They are the ones giving apple the monopoly for messaging app.

I’m now fully on the Apple ecosystem. Funny thing is that this actually happened in China 😂. So when I moved to China in 2018, my school issued me a MacBook. And then you guys know how Apple does it. Transferring photos from my Samsung phone to the MacBook was such a nightmare. And so I thought, alright let’s just get the iPhone. And once I got my iPhone, I was like, the Apple Watch will be a good fit. And then I got my iPad Pro too. I used iPhone 3G when it first launched. Stopped at iPhone 4. Before moving to BlackBerry and Android. But back then, I wasn’t fully invested in the ecosystem.

I've never had an apple product, but very close to making the switch to the iphone 15 pro from the pixel 6 pro. I was so excited for the new pixel lineup when it launched 2 years ago with Google's CPU, but it has been the buggiest android phone I've ever had. I don't care about customization as much these days, I just want the phone to work when I need it to. Plus, top of the line android phones are always huge 6.7" slabs. They need more premium 6" choices.

I think from a laptop perspective you probably want to speak to someome who can recommend you a good laptop to fir your needs. MacBooks are only winning right now because od battery life, webcams and depending on the device, the speakers. They lost the performance crown with the new generation of chips coming out and alot of high end AMD laptops are getting close to apple in battery life and they also have thunderbolt/USB 4 on board. I would have agreed with you a few years ago about the laptop's because the M chips from apple are ineane, but if you're picking a laptop X86 is still going to be the default because of compatibility instead of only sticking to ARM M Chips that apple has. It's only recently where we've been seeing third party developers breaking apples feature set to actually give us better APIs that they should just have built in such as vulkan support.
Also there has been software available for a few years where Android users can use iMessage, this is also less known too but definitely something that exists.

I switched over to Apple hand held devices in November 2020 when I got a used iPhone 10 Max so I could use the Apple Watch I'd bought (for the fall detection, mainly). I'd been using an LG V20 - from 2016 - that I loved. I still have it! I also still have a Samsung 5se tablet I still use for one game that is Android only. It still amazes me how light it is and how fast the OS is and it's 4yrs old. Swapping would be easy to do if it weren't for iMessage. I hear you.

Couldn't have phrased this better myself. I'm a dual wielder. I'm actually drifting into the Apple ecosystem due to the hardware integration. But both Samsung (and, to a lesser extent, Google) have come miles in their own hardware integration. It's not quite as tight if you've got - as an example - a Pixel phone, and Galaxy watch, but it's getting there with their partnerships. The one area I think Android excels at over Apple is the notification paradigm. I don't know that I'll EVER get used to having to manually swipe down to see what notifications have popped up during my work day. And the logic Apple uses for grouping is slightly annoying. But, the small things, like copying a link on my iPhone and pasting it on my Mac, with no thought, is clutch.
