iRig HD 2 - Overview

My IRIG HD2 doesnt work, it works when i connect it to the Laptop it shows the bright blue light that turns green when i play the guitar, but on Iphone both iphone 5 and 14 pro max it doesn't work. It simply glows blue dimly and never detects the guitar input. It will transfer the sound to the amp but the Phone can't find any guitar input.

The Audio In is mono or stereo?

So instead of buying multiple pedals I can just buy an irig and plug it with my phone and amp?(i’m a beginner)

Will this work with an Android phone?

I've got this guitar interface, and I've been using it for quite some time. And I love every minute of it. It gave me the opportunity to try simulations from amps, which are way out of my budget(JCM 900, SLO 100).

I’m a little late and I’m hoping anyone could get back to me with an answer but I’ve had this irig for quite some time now and it works great but there’s one big issue, the usb to lightning cable comepletely stopped working after only 2 months of having it. Does anyone know if I can buy and use an average lightning to micro usb as a replacement rather than purchasing the ik multimedia cable for a whopping 30$ just to probably have it fail on me within a couple of weeks once more. From the research I’ve done I am far from the only one experiencing this issue so if anybody who’s tried could confirm for me I’d rlly appreciate that🙏

None of the videos or retailers seem to explain how the iRig connects to iPhones that don’t have 1/4” Jack outputs. It just says it is compatible. How? Does it have a lightning port? And can I connect Bluetooth headphones?

Hi Guys, I'm trying to connect the irig hd2 to my Ipad running amplitube 5 through a Fender Super 60 but I can't hear the sound processed, just when I set the switch on the irig to thru it works with the clear sound, anyone knows where I'm wrong? Thanks

Hi there, I just bought it, but the latency is horrible and sucks. Im using iRig HD2 + iPhone SE - even in headphones is latency, through Fender combo is same - latency which I cannot play with. Sorry, but Im really disappointed....

If anyone is trying to remove the Velcro clip, you pull up on the tab and slide towards the 1/4” jacks.

Just got a free amp sim (Black Sun) and need a low cost interface (don't want to spend much in case I don't like it...my first time with a guitar computer amp). Wife works at home so I need to keep volume to a minimum so this is worth a try. Will this work with a Windows 10 PC? Also, will my Yamaha drums (1/4 in jack like guitar0 work with Irig2? Thanks! I am using my iPhone's camera to record me doing Drum Covers but I want to bring in a clean audio feed of the music and the sounds from my drum module into the iPhone. I have everything hooked up to the iRig HD2 and it doesn't work. Its not allowing any sound to get into the iPhone. What I hear when I play back my video is me hitting the pads and no music and certainly no drum sounds. My goal was to do some Facebook, Instagram or Tik Tok live streams and have a good clean sound coming from my drums into my iPhone 8 Plus using iOS 14.4. I was trying to eliminate making videos with another camera and then syncing the audio in post production but I don't know any other way to make this work for streaming. Thoughts?

I have the I rig 2. Non HD. And I also bought amplitube 4. Is there a way to listen to it through just the iPad or headphones. I can’t find a tutorial anywhere as to how to get sound. Is there another pack I need to buy or what. Please help as I’m new to this. Cheers
