GOOD CONFLICT
ОтветитьJesus Christ! Is that annoying line from the mother ship to the side panel really necessary? I think developers think we are stupid, must be it. We need a day-one mod to remove that ASAP.
ОтветитьNot for $100 hard pass.
Ответитьomfg did they actually stick to the source material and make a great sequel, i am flabbergasted. No SBI, no ESG no DEI, no forced message, what the hell is going on.
ОтветитьDo a play through this game is super fun
Ответитьa pointer though, you can set your ships to just attack 1 targets but the whole cluster by dragging, also remember to return your ships to the mothership for repairing
ОтветитьWow. Nice ship. Can we keep it? ❤
ОтветитьBuild a squadron of interceptor
Raptor: I better mash the button and Build 30 to go along with my 60 recon craft 😂
MASS EFFECT 4
Ответитьi remember with the first game you would hold off completing a stage to get Resorces or build ships
ОтветитьToo many micro managing, like you shouldn't have to micromanage extinguishing fire
ОтветитьJust love the Homeworld's story telling
ОтветитьGotta say, I prefer when they used ships for the profile pictures. I'm not a fan of introducing actual human characters during Homeworld gameplay.
ОтветитьA Fully immersive VR version of this Would be Phenomenal ? Would really feel like you Are Command
ОтветитьTurn the khar vertical works better in fights
ОтветитьAre you sure this is not woke? The main character is certainly ugly enough. LOL
ОтветитьJust noticed the Beta-Beta-Iota-2 .. BBI 2 ... black bird interactive 2 .. nice!
ОтветитьGot my juices flowing.
Ответитьwhy does everyting look streched?
ОтветитьI spent so many hours playing HW the original. I wish I had the time to play the others. I guess I'll just watch Raptor play it.
ОтветитьCan't wait to watch more of this series. Remember to watch out for "subspace interference"!
ОтветитьThis game looks sexy.
ОтветитьGame is garbage. The story is 13 missions long only dragged along by bad unit controls. You could probably beat this in 4 hours if your units didn't just take off on their own without you moving them. It's so bad that they made a tutorial about how to look around with your mouse. Wargames had potential but seems to dc everyone who tries to party up. Buying the first 3 as in hw1,hw2, and sands is a better bang for your dollar than hm3 and they seem more user friendly.
ОтветитьI wonder why I cant look up the voice actors
ОтветитьThe question here is can i deliver The Emperor's justice an Exterminatus ?
ОтветитьThe art and game play look quite good. The writing is appears fine, but less compelling than the first instalment. This might just be a good game.
ОтветитьOh my god there is a skirmish,
Thank god.
When searching up for game modes they only talked about War Games, so I wasn't sure.
The way combat plays out in terms of distance, movement, how fighters maneuver, how projectiles are shown and displayed in contrast to how the ships are reacting and dealing with it, the time to kill, etc is in my opinion really boring & less epic compared to HW1. Even the remake didn't do it justice because it was remade in the HW2 engine. Something just feels so mobile-like about the gameplay, instead of epic fights in space. They made sure the background objects give you a sense of scale, and then use that scale to appreciate the ships themselves but then how the fights of the ships play out is in knife range and even larger ships seem like just another fighter craft to not care about. It's like you get the impression you're in the Atlantic/Pacific Ocean for a battle (analogy) but the actual combat happens in a backyard pool. It's very compressed. It totally takes away from the scale scope of the map and how you would think a fight would happen. It almost makes the aspect of fighting in space pointless. Plus HW1 made you care about each craft to some degree but here it's just feels cheap and throwaways. Get a few pretty flashes of color for the dopamine hit. But there's no real impact to the fights like HW1 felt or even Cataclysm. From other vids, even larger ships feel arcade like, rotate and move like basically a corvette even while making you think it's huge and die relatively quickly; it's not the same kind of awe you got when building one in HW1/Cataclysm (maybe even HW2). Glad I didn't pre-order. Maybe I'm the only one that feels this way.
Another thing, since I know Rapter has played for example Nebulous: Fleet Command. In HW3 as we can see there are massive objects in the map, some you have to move around, but none of it seems really meaningful for a battle because of the battlespace compression and how fights turn out. Although Nebulous gameplay is completely different in many ways, I'm just brining it up because it's a great example of where things on the map CAN and DO matter. Like moving your ship carefully between asteroids, or even the crest of one, to pop up and shoot, to cover, etc. All this stuff in HW3 looks incredible in photos and in video but really just gets in the way and doesn't meaningfully do anything from what I've seen, at least no where to the degree it could matter. The way larger craft and capital ships move, how the AI handles their combat characteristics, the TTK, just makes that stuff basically just eye candy. But it's presented like it's more than that. It's just not. Even having a large range for a Z access, up and down (aka 3D space), feels almost pointless in HW3, even if from what I heard, there is a difference in damage from sides, rear, etc; how the game shows it, how ships handle it, feels too arcade like to care about it.
My opinion of course.
The cutscenes are cringe and out of place in an omeworld game. Also love how they managed to make space combat claustrophobic by reducing so much the engagement range and formation spacing that fighters constantly bump on each other. Dodged a massive bullet not preordering years ago.
ОтветитьI’m really looking forward to playing this game I hope it holds up to the original game.
Ответитьone of the best strategy game i ever played homeworld i happy it's finally come
ОтветитьI'm taking Friday off of work just so that I can have 3 days to enjoy Homeworld 3 and Men Of War 2! I can't wait for release day!
ОтветитьMore more more I love this
ОтветитьMore more and more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ответитьwhy has mine not arrived yet, ive had it preordered since 2022
ОтветитьPossibly the best rendition of Adagio for Strings in that opening cinematic
ОтветитьSomehow I never got that idea that Homeworld is actually Cyberpunk in space. It blew my mind as I saw that intro cutscene, sadly Homeworld lore never got into any depth how the link to the mothership works. That cutscene was all I needed, and it didn't even need any words. Such a good voiceactor... it caught me off guard because she is so much better than expected! I can almost imagine what it would be like, linking your very mind with that vast sensory network of the mothership. I know this stuff from Neon Genesis Evangelion or the Armored Core games... it never seizes to amaze me. Imogen surely will never be the same person again after this journey. Expanding your perception to such gigantic levels is a tough weight to lift for a human brain.
ОтветитьI so hope and pray this won't be pozzed/modern audienced
Ответитьlooking good have to wait till next month skint atm.
Ответитьdamn it was like watching a movie
impressive
Build heaps of recon ships dont use them frustration
ОтветитьLooks great! An boring. We'll see if they abandon it or flesh it out.
ОтветитьIntro music is Dj tiesto - Adagio for strings😍😍
ОтветитьPlease keep on posting about your journey on this game... a very cinematic experience
ОтветитьWhy tf do you guys still watch this? He's f*cking horrible at games.
ОтветитьHorrible release .. refunded .. look at the reviews before you buy .. HORRIBLE ratings
ОтветитьThe intro vid really made me miss the black and white from the original. Lost a lot of what made Homeworld Homeworld right there.
ОтветитьYes plz do a full playthrough of this!!!
ОтветитьHere's why I think games like this are not realistic: they fail to take into account the true state of human nature. Take the idea of flying ships for starters. Yes, it's all very futuristic to have ships flying in the air, even small "car" ships, but you never see any sky rage - two ships facing each other, both refusing to move, to go round each other, above or below each other, and with the pilots of both shouting and swearing at each other to get out of their bit of the f**king sky. Also human nature wants to make money, so they build things that will one day deliberately break so you have to go out and buy a new one. You never see a ship break down in the sky, the pilot look directly at camera and go "uh-oh," and then the ship tumble to the ground. Not in battle, just in a pure and simple breakdown. Whenever I mention these things to game developers, they (and others) simply advise me to get things that I don't already have, like a life, or lost, things of that nature. But I know I'm right. Aren't I? x
