Awesome playing man. I really wanna pick up a pedal steel myself but cant bring myself to pay the $1500+ it costs to buy one. It's a shame there aren't lower level, cheaper pedal steels out there like there are for guitars, banjos, mandolins, etc. (or maybe there are and just haven't found them yet). What would be your advice for someone like me who wants to get into the instrument at a lower price point to see if it's something I'd be willing to invest more money in if I like it?

steel your face, can you show in a video lesson how to play dire wolf pedal steel by NOT using the pedals and only "slanting" the slide barre ? it can be done by Slanting the slide barre and by not using the pedals
