Bi-Directional Charging: Why You Need It | EV Basics

Do you think the Bi-directional charger from Enphase would work with Ecoflow Delta Pro with the X-stream connector?

a little over 100 cities worldwide run only on clean energy. Read that again. Now if ya add one charger for every two households just what does that do to their power grid? I'm all for clean energy but why are still using solar which is at the most 25% efficient and causes a big carbon foot print to make. We won't mention what happens in hail storms, or wind storms and at nigh when everyones EV is charging. We could be jumping the gun here.

i may have another problem with bidirectional charging in the future
i live in Australia, and I'm on single phase which limits my total inverting capacity to 10kw and limits my export to 5kw
i already have a 10kw of inverting form solar so, if i add a bidirectional charger, it will more then likely be classed as, adding another inverter pushing my over the 10kw limit
this is one of the biggest problems with standalone ac couple battery storage systems, you end up needing an inverter for your solar array and an inverter for your battery backup, battery coupled solar inverters don't have this issue since, they can invert and charge batteries at the same time, letting you have a larger solar array, but you can also use the same 5kw inverter for solar or battery inverting
so I'm kind of left with 2 options, yeet one of my solar inverters and replace it with an inverter that can plug into a tesla, or upgrade to a 3 phase grid connection, not sure what the best option will be but, i have a few years to wait before i need to deal with this issue, hopefully some good options will come onto the market for what i want
