1050Ti is not really bad, but this GPU can run 1080p on low-medium settings and it's like GTX 1630

mostly just want this to get better fps in fortnite. I have a intel i5 4590 which got 4 cores processing system which can run fortnite pretty well from what i know and I just need a better GPU cus im using intel integrated graphics card and i think after some research (including watching this video) that this GTX 1050 Ti is perfect for the games I want to play whcih is Fortnite, Minecraft, and Valorant. I get 60+ fps in minecraft and valorant, but not fortnite, so I think I just need a better GPU (or well a gpu in general ig lol) and this seems perfect!!! (soemone tell me otherwise if u think so...) I'm super glad I didn't get this card. I was originally going to get this card, but I got the 1060 3GB instead because (back in 2020) the 1060 only costed $50 more. Despite less VRAM, the 1060 way outperforms the 1050 Ti. Sure, the 1060 is meh too nowadays, but I have no regrets about passing the 1050 Ti over because the 1050 Ti is dogshit. I watch videos of the 1050 Ti just to see how much I lucked out not getting this card.

please don't hide 1050ti Power usage in games

as a 1050 ti user, i say it's meh, because there a lot better gpu's for a bit more price although it's a fine budget gpu.

the GIGABYTE GTX 1050 Ti OC is my GFX-card and I like it. It's not perfect, but it does its job

if you're thinking about buying one now, just don't do it. I have mine for 5 years now and it did a great job but we're entering a new era of gaming (Ray tracing, DLSS, UE 5.1 e.t.c.) and the card won't keep up with the new standarts. Most of the newer games aren't really playable (Sons of the forest made me hate that GPU).

I still use one cause of gpu prices. Got a 5600x Paired with it and its a really nice Fill until i buy New gpu. All my games are more on the cpu intensive side, wow ,csgo, project zomboid etc.. For All those games the 1050ti is still absolutely fine. In raids in retail wow i dont go below my locked 75fps.
And csgo fps capped at 200
Without cap over 300.

If you dont have enough money for a gpu at the moment the 1050ti is like 90 bucks and its really worth it until new gpu prices Dropped a bit

I have the same card, but foliage always looks very grainy and pixelated, like in Elden Ring for example. Everything looks jagged and grainy. Any tips on how to fix that?

Yeah my 1050ti didn't even need external power and that thing was a beast. I was playing all the triple a games with a little 75w, one fan card. Of course all at low settings but definitely better than my ps4

Those graphics look worse than the switch graphics when it comes to Fortnite. Also my R9 390 now won't run Fortnite above 60fps if I cap it at 144hz (the Hz of my monitor) then it will jump between like 17fp and 144fps wtf?

At least I don't have to play on as low a setting as this card does.
