Jolteon, Espeon, and Leafeon are my favorites, because they're all fast. Umbreon and Sylveon have the best shinies, though. As for types, I think a Ghost, Poison, or Steel-type evolution would be cool.

To answer the first question in order from “worst” to best of the Top 3 Eeveelutions (in my opinion ofc): Glaceon, Jolteon, and Espeon
& for the answer to the 2nd question: Dragon Type, really felt like they should’ve introduced it when they introduced Sylveon. It could’ve been a parallel to how we got introduced to Espeon and Umbreon.

Came across this video about Shiny Eeveelutions just two weeks after starting my own quest for a Shiny Eevee (in Pokemon Pearl - The original one not the Shining one)

I'm trying to figure out if I'd be more likely to get one by trying to catch Eevees, which can only be found in the Trophy Garden on random days, and hoping for a shiny or trying to mass breed Eevees and release the Non-Shiny ones.

My favourite Eeveelution is Umbreon, specifically my female one with an Adamant Nature, who I called Evelyn (I evolved an Eevee and have the habit of nicknaming all of my female Eevees Evelyn so I can have an Eevee called Evie) since it streamlined my search for Adamant natured male Ralts and Starly through its ability, Synchronise.

I got shiny eevee once but it was lvl 5 so I just evolved it into flareon. You can barely tell the difference between normal flareon and shiny flareon.
