This is not a good side by side comparison. The trucks are not apples to apples. You brought a loaded ram and entry level ford and high country that’s missing the nice tailgate.

Also the ram fan boys you had looking at the trucks were not very knowledgeable about the other brands.

The optional gm tailgate is way more functional that the ram one shown here. And ford has a new tailgate as well.

One difference. The Toyota will be faithful and actually last.

I've owned all four of them and I do like Ford, but not sure I'd buy one these days with all of the quality control problems they are having. Toyota has problems just like everyone else. I'm having to replace a transmission in a LC200 and Toyota didn't care to help me with it(just out of warranty). I don't trust Dodge or Chevy these days. Unfortunately I'm in the market for a new truck and I can't decide.

As a GM guy I’ll take any of these truck besides the Japanese truck.

Toyota is very underwhelming compared to the competitors.. I currently own a 2022 Laramie Ram with the 3.0L Ecodiesel. I’ve owned 1 Tundra (21 Trail Edition), 2 Silverados (2019 LT and 2022 Trail Boss LT) and a 2018 Ram (Tradesman) and by far my favorite has been my Ecodiesel even with the maintenance cost. Toyota’s reliability is still at question bc they went to the twin-turbo V6, so we will see how well it holds up.

toyota all the way. because when i see the others at the dealer. theyre all like 100k with insane mark up, and the toyota is still like 60-70k.

I feel like the ram is the best truck. And also in this video the year for the ram was 2022 and the rest 2023 highest trim 😂 if you compare the 2023 ram Trx omg that is the beast. And the ford raptor is bullshit

My #1 choice is NONE. Anything over 50K new is overpriced not worth it to the average consumer. I will stick with my tried and true SR5 double cab 2021 5.7L V8 tundra 43K new. Am done buying new trucks the next 20 years or so.

test drove 2023 LTZ, Lariat and Laramie i took home the Laramie sport 1500 ... in my personal opinion it had the best interior features the most comfort and she just wanted to go! chevy looks nice, great motor just horrible suspension, and the ford im a ford guy i think the ford has slight advantage in the towing department but lacks in alot of other area's!

Why did you choose the second trim in the f-150 to compare with the top trims in the others ?

Worthless review without maintenance costs and reliability! Dodge has the worst maintenance cost over 10 years. These guys don’t care because they write everything off on their taxes!!!

Ram is due for some changes but imo rams features and interior quality is what continues to keep it at the #1 spot. I do wish for an engine upgrade and mssage seats.

You should have compared all the trucks with the same options or same class not leather to cloth, heated seats to non heated the ford lariat has a step and handle in the tailgate.

These guys don't need a truck. They need a retirement village with a golf cart.

Ram limited versus F-150 XLT? XLT is the midrange and Limited is top dog, and that's your comparison? This was NOT an apples to apples test. The Chevy was the High Country. The Toyota was the TRD. Both the Ford and the Toyota were not in their top trim level. So both of the interiors suffered a little bit. Not the greatest comparison i've ever seen. One of the worst.

what would you recommend for a first time truck , price not really a big issue , want something that can be a daily drive and an offroad vihicle , nothing crazy just offroad capable

Great and fun video! All of those trucks where all really nice, but what I've seen a heard, I'd go with the Ram.
P.S. Why isn't there a Nissan Titan there?

Had 2020 Ram Rebel and went to a 2022 F150 Lariat with 3.5 ecco boost and now a 2024 Tundra Platinum. I would say overall that the F150 would be best except for the Ford Sync system will not keep working. Always going out and also on my wife's Navigator it is out and parts not available so stay away from Sync until Ford gets it right. Ram interior is higher quality than both of the other two brands. Went with the Tundra because it has the most bang for the buck. Same price as Lariat but has factory dash cam, rear heated and cooled seats, back window rolls down, ton of storage under rear seat, electronic screen system actually works. The Ram screen includes all of the a/c heat controls and it is a pain to try to find while driving so prefer separate controls for those items. Ford definitely the fastest not really even close with the other two and it also pulls the best. Hopefully the Tundra will have that Toyota dependability and I will be a happy guy. I will say that truck prices are getting a little ridiculous but it is what it is. Hope this helps!

Honestly, they are all good trucks, in my opinion it all comes down to personal preference, i don't think you can go wrong with any of those trucks.

I can't really comment on the brand new models, i have a 21 ram bighorn midnight edition, i have driven the 21 ford f150's and the 21 gmc truck, and by far the nicest looking, riding and handling truck out of the three is the ram.

slight correction, Tundra limited and above come with a 32 gallon tank. lower trims come with 22 gallon, but SR5 can be optioned with 32 gallon

That dodge tailgate is really dumb. If you want something to load golf clubs get an suv. I would never buy a truck with that tail gate.

You need to correct the specs on the Ram Etorque. Its an 8 speed and the Etorque adds 130lb-ft torque so jumps to 540lb-ft compared to standard Hemi. Also Max tow jumps to 12750#

These guys wanting fancier interiors is laughable. We want less fancy, more utility! That’s why a new truck cost $60k+. I’ll take the tundra because it’s the cheapest and most reliable.

On my personal decision I prefer the chevy 6 cylinder in line no turbos or craps solid engine.

I hate that dial shifter in the ram. I rented one for a few days and I couldn't stand it. Felt so cheap. I'll sacrifice the space for a real shifter.

Those guys lost me when they stated they liked the rotary shifter.

Tundra is the peoples' favorite. Has the most replayed part of the video.
