Definetly my 2nd favorite Druid subclass with Wildfire in first.
ОтветитьI play mabe i like dnd
ОтветитьI always mix this subclass with rangers. Archer form giving me a decent bonus action shot and getting guiding bolt just helps me create a nature powered archer. Still being able to wildshape and use the Druid summon spells gives it a lot of flavor too.
Ответитьyeah, man, i remember when passing notes in class was a thing...now i feel old
ОтветитьI loved all of your puns
ОтветитьObligatory comment
ОтветитьI made an Orc Stars Druid with the Warden option and made him a literal Starry (K)Night. His name is Gough. Naturally.
ОтветитьFor some reason, I thought for sure you’d gone over this before? Guess I was wrong. Either way, this is a wonderful video for a wonderful subclass
ОтветитьAh, yes. The Sailor Moon class, including magical transformation sequence.
ОтветитьOh yeah 1k like let's gooo!
ОтветитьGot to play a level 7 Stars Druid (2014 rules) in a one shot a while back & I'm keen to play one again
My druid was Ull, a wandering Tortle thay used the stars to navigate. His shell was patterned after the night sky, with dark blues & purples, and lots of stars. That's where the current constellation would shine bright when in use.
Highlights were the free Guiding Bolts, and Weal & Woe. I rolled Weal & used one of to let an ally succeed at an absolutely meaningless skill checks, but that's the fun.
Tl;Dr big fan of this subclass. It's powerful & flavourful, and has enough room to tweak to suit what you want
I'm sorry but a Red Dwarf is not just an angry Barbarian or a star, it's a six mile long JMC Mining vessel with 3 million years on the clock.
You fracking smeghead
I have an Astral Elf Stars Druid and I just love the build! Paired with the Astral Drifer background, it rocks!
ОтветитьNever been interested to play a druid, but this class sounds interesting.
ОтветитьLove the puns
ОтветитьIs it possible you can touch the mystic class. I know it’s a dead class but I really wanna try them on bg3 mod lol
ОтветитьAstro-lobe. Like ear.
ОтветитьThe first time I played a circle of the Stars druid; the character was an older Hexblood fellow who was a courtier to the king of a small kingdom. I was joined by a Cleric, a Wizard, a Ranger, and a Paladin. The Paladin and I started at 3rd level (we had been at court for like 5 years by that point) while the Ranger, Wizard, and Cleric started at 1st (they were both new and young enough in game that it made sense). I just remember my favorite part of that game was watching myself be outclassed by the Cleric and Wizard who functionally took my Job. I was supposed to be the Court Mage/healer. Offering guidance through astronomy and astrology, pushing the kingdom toward a more naturalistic approach. But the Wizard was a divination wizard (the bastard) and the Cleric was a life domain cleric... so basically everything I was about got thwarted and outclassed.
The Funny bit for me was the competitiveness of the characters... the Wizard felt that I was stymying the growth of the nation by locking them into a reverence for Nature and the Cleric hated the agnostic-esque quality of druid's worship of natural forces and wanted to bring the nation more in line with their God.
I think what the Stars Druid does that helps to make them different is that they allow the Druid, which is already one of the most versatile classes in its ability to fit in many many roles simultaneously, to just fit those differing roles better. The ability to switch forms without expending a wild shape use. The Woe and the Weal ability feels weirdly like a cross between being a Bard and Divination Wizard, like obviously Divination Wizard's ability is superior but I feel like narratively they fulfill similar functions.
I really love Stars Druid. They're a phenomenal subclass that is enough removed from the other subclasses that putting them in an urban environment actually feels good. Like if you're someone who lives in civilization, you can still be rooted the nature of the world and cosmos through the stars... and mechanically its just great. Level 20 feels amazing for Stars Druids too without make you feel like its broken.
These audience members clearly don't know a quality joke when they hear it. This man is comedy gold!
Ответитьokay the starry form character art that you used is fire, who made them ? :O
ОтветитьCircle Of Stars Druid that Takes a Life Domain Cleric Dip. Surprisingly good at healing
ОтветитьNot gonna lie, this is my favorite Druid subclass ❤
ОтветитьOathbreaker Paladin pls
ОтветитьHell ya, Stars Druid has so much room for creativity and self expression that it's a joy to play. Not to mention it gives more interesting things to do with your Wild Shape than "I become bear"
ОтветитьI should've watched this video earlier, these puns are simply stellar!
Ответить100% AI
ОтветитьI randomly generated a character once that was a Stars druid with a farmer background, so I was kind of forced to make the star chart into an almanac
ОтветитьPlayed a level 12 one shot with this class and 1 level dip into life cleric - I kept everyone alive with the Chalice constellation. We fought some really tough enemies and mobs, was such fun that I want to play this in a permanent campaign.
ОтветитьThis just gave me the idea that I can make Brian cox as a DND character
ОтветитьCould I say...From how you handle jokes in Your video that you'd make a lot of Fallout and Warhammer 4k references when covering War Cleric?
ОтветитьWhere'd the art for the 3 starry forms come from? That was really cool!
ОтветитьYOOOOOO! ALIEN X FROM
BEN 10 MENTIONED! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Funny enough I'm being a astral elf of a star druid knowing nothing so far enjoying it
ОтветитьYmba having a midlife crisis over passing notes in class is not something I expected to find in a Dungeons and Dragons subclass video… but I kind of dig it.
ОтветитьIs this someway of calling someone gay? You’d be right.
ОтветитьCan you do a video about illusion wizard?
ОтветитьCool
ОтветитьWe all know that Druidic consists of grunting & "yeah dudes" like hippies speak.
ОтветитьI created a Star Druid & my DM allowed my Star Map to be tattoed onto my body. I absolutely love the Starry Form abilities.
ОтветитьPick aasimar and you could flavor your character to look like Alien X
ОтветитьYmba, Awsome video!! Have you seen the mutation druid it's basically if Peta did warcrimes!!
ОтветитьSo, guess which druid subclass is officially coming to Baldur's Gate 3?
ОтветитьExcited to see what they do with this class now that it's being added to Baldur's Gate 3.
ОтветитьI am going to play a druid for a first time. Its a Circle of Stars Havling Druid. I am looking forward to this ^_^
ОтветитьThis should have a constellation for each of the seasons.
ОтветитьI really wanna know where you found that awesome artwork for the Starry Forms, or if anyone knows in general!
ОтветитьMy life cleric is a guiding bolt/sacred flame cannon
Ответить❤
