I have compromised so much I have become comfortable with just a job!

“I have automated most of my job. I now work remotely and have no need to deal with my team. I get a good paycheck and benefits. So, I have decided to stay in this organization till I finish my MBA to take advantage of it and then leave for a better job upon graduation”. This was one of the examples provided to me in my Organizational Leadership and Change Management Course this evening.
This sentiment was repeated by many students from both the public and private sector. Repeated by students in management roles. I hear the same message from my coaching clients and employees from various organizations I consult for.
