I love the draw on map mod. I don't use the symbols at all, I either scribble routes that are blocked, by-passable, heavy loot like generators, and cross off which houses I've been too. Handwriting everything feels much more immersive than pasting in a textbox with the same size and font every time.😊

I don't think this was a feature until a couple days ago but Spongie's Open Jackets now makes it so that when you roll up a sleeve on unzip a jacket that area won't be affected by the clothing making it vulnerable but not as hot.

hey so i had what i thought was genius idea. i used a car to block off an entry point to a high fenced zone. pulled the tires off the car and everything for the Z to crawl right under it. thats a serious violation for this game. what gives?!

Realism vs Balance is a hard one to master. But what harm is there in a small tanker truck? Not talking like 18 wheeler but like a bobtail. A mounted on a truck or a smaller tank on a trailer wouldn’t be too outrageous considering I have only ever found 2 trailers in almost 200 hours of playtime. It would make watering large farms easier, transporting water back to base easier if you don’t live on a body of water, and obviously fuel transportation if you have a remote base and few gas cans.

There’s a difference between QoL and “aesthetics” lol
Maybe make a different video for the aesthetics only mods and actual QoL mods?

2 mods that are a personal must have (i cant remember the exact names) but they allow you to re-order your hotbar and container list each as a seperate mod

simple status mod helps with moodles problem,also ability to wear bacpack and satchel at same time which is logical with sub bag mod

I wonder if you even read this late. but I say the must have QOL mod for zomboid that should be vanilla is the Mod Manager. I mean, without that mod. people wouldn't make big mod lists and it is a big QOL to have the features it brings to organising your modlists. without that mod you would most likely have to redo an entire modlist if you fuck up the load order for certain mods.

I can't seem to find "The Candles Mod". Dark Prozac is not coming up.

Mr. Atomic, thanks for these mods. I dunno if you can help me with a recent issue I had with all these downloadable mods, anyhow I have a lot's of those and for some reason there must be a conflict because, when I read books to improve my skills, it seems that those bars are stucked, I can't make any progress although I did finish the books. It doesn't happen however, when I watch TV, and learn from "...Life and living". At this stage what could it be the issue here? Do I have to uninstall and reinstall the game to solve this?

Old mods for the map. The map has it in vanilla now. So when you have the map mods it breaks your map with an error.

One mod i found adds fastfoward in mp its worked pretty well if your working with a small group since everyone has to set it to the same time to speed it up!

It's actually crazy how some of these mods have already been added to the vanilla - I purchased the game last weekend, and i've already seen several mods being added as standard

I do kinda like the moodles having the effects without knowing because it like teaches you how to play. Maybe once ypu learn a symptom it permentatly tells you...if you survive the moodle

Personally I don't think that the devs should prioritize difficulty over realism. The game would still be very difficult even with filling barrels with gas, or taking water jugs.

There's a few mods that add some crafting recipes. "Recipes+" is one that I have.

Less necessary or potentially less balanced mods I've subscribed to on steam include wooden dowels, prepper equipment, bone mod, fencing kits, craftable curtains, and cat's faster reading mod. Considering "Essential Crafting" as an alternative for "Recipes+"

The mod LITTERALLY called common sense adds organization elements, allows you to pry doors with crowbars, use flashlights without using a hand and so many useful things

Throw Bodies out the Window is a good one. It does exactly what it says on the tin, and allows you to throw Zombie Bodies out windows.

Make sure to add "Out Of Gas" to this list because it allows using your car just in case you run out of Gas

In regards to the "Snow is water" mod and the discrepancy - it`s actually more realistic that snow doesn`t work that way. If you try it yourself you`ll see what I mean. A whole bucket full of snow will fill just the bottom when melted.
