Real Secularism.... Uniform Civil Code Law.

Try to impose UCC to NE states bcz tribels wheather hindus,or christians have their own laws.Shia--Sunni should be united to save Muslim personal laws .

It is a stark reality that strong gender discrimination exists in all religions in India. Changing those religious laws may take hundreds of years, if not thousands.
To move forward towards a developed country, India need to implement Uniform Civil Code. UCC is a must for a perfect democracy. It will eventually ensure all constitutional rights to both genders equally.
Actually it should be called "Gender Equality Civil Code".
Once the Uniform Civil Code is implemented, 4 subjects - marriage, divorce, succession and adoption will come under common law in the country. There will be no special system on the basis of religion in these matters. The UCC does not affect the religious rites, rituals, and observances that occur in the life of a man or a woman of any religion. Every male/female in the country should not be allowed to leave his/her wife/husband and children and go with another man/woman at will without obtaining a legal divorce.
Muslim religious goons are horrified by the UCC that undermines Islamic male supremacy, which seeks to trample their women. When Islamic personal law system that is incompatible with the human concept of equality exists in the name of Islam, we should take refuge in our great constitution for justice. Lakhs of “rich” Muslims have got married for the second time under the Special Marriage Act, 1954, to evade the inequalities of Muslim personal law system.
Let Islam become a community that lives with equality between men and women that the Prophet (SAW) dreamed of. Let the shackles of religious, political, Mahal and business goons be broken. Let democracy flourish. Why not create a uniform civil code for the entire people of India based on the Special Marriage Act, 1954?

I am awaiting from since from childhood..for this Law acroos india in one way..

Your codes may be uniform but there will not be peace prevalent. There will be agitations, riots and confusions .

INDA NEEDS ASAP THE ONE CIVIL CODE.
