So many of the actors in this movie are sadly underrated and are always very solid in the roles they play.
ОтветитьAt some point of recent years RoboCop started looking like a documentary 🙂
ОтветитьMan Peter Weller and Bruce Campbell have the greatest jawlines in cinema, I’m jealous because that jawline is flawless.
ОтветитьThe TV edit of the bathroom scene I once called him ass hole edited too, something like badly dubbed butt head
ОтветитьHow the fuck was they ever ganna hook up...he's a head spine an lungs in a fricking metal suit
ОтветитьPredicting Detroit would go bankrupt is like me predicting I have to pay rent on the 1st
Ответитьanybody seen the pun calling him murphy as in murphys law, bad luck
ОтветитьThe guy in the gas station IS Veerhoven
ОтветитьI'd buy that for a dollar
ОтветитьLong time ago my best friend and I were writing a story about a corporation that produced artificial people, the top of the line being cyborgs called synths.
So the good guys capture an agent of the company named Tau who was pretty much fired. Then they captured a synth named Mu.
My friend commented that they better not let Tau speak to Mu or the synth's compulsion to obey company orders ment Tau could just unleash a terminator on the good guys.
I thought this over for a couple of days and then asked her "have you ever watched the ending of Robocop?"
I showed her and she understood right away, Tau being fired from the evil company ment she had no authority anymore and Mu wouldn't listen to her.
It was such a small detail but I still think about that moment every time I see the ending of Robocop. Saved me from a plothole.
Kurtwood Smith was so terrifying of a villain in this that when I saw him in That 70's Show I was a little scared of the character of Red.
At the same time it's one of those moments of superb casting because Smith has that look of an old school dad who is just frightening.
You know, the kind who would say
"Dad I'm scared there's something under my bed"
"If you don't get back in your bed right now I'm gonna give you something to be afraid of out here."
Fox News was not launched in the 80s. It was launched in 1996.
ОтветитьLove Robocop!
Ответить"I bet you think you're pretty smart, huh? Think you can outsmart a bullet?"
ОтветитьGreat channel!
ОтветитьIn Robocop 2 when he gets his metallic ass kicked, I really wanted to see Cain's gang try and drill through the skin into his skull, or to see some kind of damage to the head.
ОтветитьI remember watching this on tv and it was funny that the part where Bob Morton was doing white girl off of those white girls was still there but they can't have Red Foreman cussing 😂😂 and he tells them " Ladies leave" and my dad and i still jokingly say that to this day, good times man.
ОтветитьAlien 3 does a much better job at the analogy
ОтветитьThey’ll fix you line he’s talking to Lewis not boediker
ОтветитьPaul Verhoeven's perfect trifecta is RoboCop, Total Recall And Starship Troopers. We need him back in Hollywood. All his action was incredible. People getting shot with the blood bursts and all.
ОтветитьAlso, good foresight from Verhoeven and the creative team in giving the police cruisers a matte finish. Great touch.
ОтветитьWhen I was 14, I used some of my first ever wages to take a girl we called Easy Vicky to the Odeon to watch Robocop.
Then I went back a week later by myself so that I could actually WATCH Robocop 😎
women saying they're not important today, crack me up even more now.
without verhovens wife, we would've never gotten this gem.
"the year 2043"? I have always wondered which year the film is set in, but, don't think it's ever explicitly stated.
ОтветитьHarvey Milk was a child predator, don't ever defend that pos
ОтветитьFast and Furious Eric Holder in contempt no charges.
Benghazi CIA targeted attack on U.S. Ambassadors...
I never realized that this was filmed in dallas. even in 87 dallas was about as rundown as detroit outside the downtown area.
ОтветитьI've watched this and your Terimantor breakdown, and we might have been separated at birth. Jk, but you're definitely on the same wavelength as me you're just more likeable haha what am going on about? Sorry. Keep these awesome videos coming. I'll be subscribing to your Patreon
ОтветитьRemember that RoboCop was Catholic :) that was his special ingredient in this corrupt world
ОтветитьHe wasn’t wrong at the 12 min mark with all the trans stuff going on
ОтветитьAs a kid I had only ever seen the tame TV version and then as a teenager my brother in law showed me the X-rated version on a Japanese fonted laserdisc... so brutal it's good!!
ОтветитьThe only thing i think they should have done was used the song Automatic Man by Michael Sembello.
Ответить100%
ОтветитьUpvote
ОтветитьThis movie was definitely foreshadowing.
ОтветитьJesus is the only way to the Father.
Repent, believe on Jesus. Get saved and born again.
First ad I get after conclusion of this is for a “robocall” app.
ОтветитьOne of my favourite films of all time
Ответить“ASCII” is pronounced as “ass-key”
ОтветитьI don't remember Jesus shooting a guy in the balls.
Ответить"We see just how heartless corporations are and how they aren't interested in people's lives". --Heavy Spoilers, clearly believing that governments are actually kind and care about people.
ОтветитьPeter Weller will always be RoboCop.. will always love that original movie poster.
Ответить10/10 movie, perfect
ОтветитьExcellent action, horror, comedy
ОтветитьThey'll fix you. They fix everything. That was said to Lewis not boddicker...
