ОтветитьWhat I am still not clear on is if you can choose to which degree lenses go dark? I would like to have lenses which go slighlty dark when in sun, but not completely. Dooes Zeiss or Rodenstock let you choose the degree ?
ОтветитьWould love to see Zeiss add colors. Orange and purple, specifically but bring on the variety. 👍 (blue was a great add and I think Transitions recently added purple)
ОтветитьThank you for your time today helping me choose the right photochromic lenses and coating as well as the right frame. You helped me get out of my comfort zone and I can't wait to pick them up and try them out!
ОтветитьMate...got a new pair of aviators and want to send them for lenses..do you recommend any particular place within uk?
ОтветитьExcited to get mine 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
ОтветитьWhy do you prefer the photo fusion ones ?
ОтветитьI could use a little guidance. After a recent eye exam I was told that I need a 51mm. lens. All the frames that I like are 53mm (most Oakleys), will 2mm difference be significant enough to look badly? Adult male, small face, rectangular lenses. Thank you!
ОтветитьHow to putchase
ОтветитьJust got my black glasses...guess what? The lenses are clipped in by silver frames. So, when they turn black, there's a silver shine that encases the dark lenses...It's cool and off putting at the same time lol.
ОтветитьLower the music or get a proper mic. It's very distracting.
ОтветитьBrother what’s your opinion about Zeiss photo fusion blue lens (i mean transition to blue)
ОтветитьYours don’t even look nice
ОтветитьDo you recommend the Photofusion Extra Grey if I like mine to go super dark under the sun? Any cons to it? Thank you!
ОтветитьBro link for the frame you are using
I will buy it right now
Great video!! I have always been a Transitions person and I got a new pair of Gen 8’s in blue last year, but they seem to be more grey than blue. I was wondering if you find that the Zeiss Photofusion lenses clear up faster/ are clearer indoors, and if the Zeiss antiglare coatings are better than that of what Essilor offers through Crizal? I have Crizal Sapphire 360 UV on mine and I am very disappointed in the lack of durability they have since they scratch way easier than any other antiglare I’ve had.
ОтветитьGreat tips. That's why I chose the Askja with the blue tint as they look like proper sunglasses in full sun.
The blue really matches your glasses and looks great btw.
Is there a tint colour that performs better than others for clarity?
Why would you also need a pair of sun adaptive lenses if photochromic lenses do such a good job?
Thanks for your tips 👍😊
ОтветитьI'm also planning to buy one
ОтветитьThanks for the info. In Australia they offer more essilor products. I have the eye zen lense with the crizal and transitions gen 8 coating and I must say my eyes have been much less lethargic from staring at the comp whole day. I feel the anti glare offered is best in class compared to the other premium brands. Might try Zeiss next time but very few optometrist in Aussie offer this brand. Thanks for the video mate. The blue looks great on you!
ОтветитьHave you tried Photofusion Extra Grey?
ОтветитьHi, I have 2 pairs of transitions 8 lenses (green and brown) which go dark only slightly in very hot weather, e.g. 35-40 Celsius. This is a problem because the sun is too bright and I strain my eyes. The transitions darken much more in cooler and cold conditions. Do the Hoya or Zeiss perform any better in 35-40 Celsius conditions?
ОтветитьWhat's the model of glasses?
ОтветитьI love photocromic lenses. When I drive I just use a clip-on and that's the perfect combination for me.
ОтветитьGreat video..why not making a video in the future explaining/comparing the pros and cons of zeiss photofusion vs the other premium photochromic brands (transitions,sensity,etc..)
