Thanks for the great content. I’m working on a cold plunge build now and keep thinking about the 1/4 HP chiller. Other than a handful of outlier days it doesn’t get much past 90f in the summer here near Vancouver BC. Do you think I’d be good going with the 1/4 over the 1/2hp?
ОтветитьAre you not a fan of the penguin chillers anymore?
ОтветитьCrazy you wanna seem to help people yet hide everything behind a paywall and sell ozone machines that are clearly from Ali express for half the price, thought you were a prideful guy looking out for others who wanted to DIY there own cold plunge but you’ve made it impossible unless you buy a $12 framing plan and $55 plumbing plan 🤦♂️
ОтветитьThanks for all the great content, Joe! I am curious, have you been able to test the 1/10 HP chiller on your plunge yet?
ОтветитьPenguin chillers for the win...
ОтветитьHow big of a tank
ОтветитьI got the vevor 1/3, caught it on sale and couldn't pass up the deal. Took 3 weeks to deliver but everything seems to be good. I'm Mechanically inclined and the vevor is probably going to break down eventually as they do have lower build quality (from my research). It will be a good opportunity to learn the compressor cooling cycle
ОтветитьThe title literally Says 'review' this is hardly a review
ОтветитьWhat's the furthest temp you've pushed the 1/4 hp, and what was the ambient temp. Have a 1/4 hp coming in it gets up to the 90s in VA and planning on trying to get the plunge down to around 36, but would be fine with 40 by the chiller and adding ice to get it down if necessary..
