How to Write Drum Parts (for non drummers)

I am only half way through this video and I UNDERSTAND WRITING DRUMS FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 10 YEARS OF PEOPLE EXPLAINING IT TO ME

that was excellent drum programming.

this ... made a lot of sense. A few things I learned but the great thing about this is as a summary and overview of what to think about when writing drum parts. I'm not a drummer either, a guitar player and a synth ... ummm .... owner haha! I love finger drumming and I rather do that than mouse it in. Then I edit all I can! :D No matter what, I think this was a great video from a different perspective than mine which is always something worth considering.

I'd love to hear a live drummer's interpretation of some of the drum parts I've written. And some of them are in odd time signatures, which I know you prog drummers love! There are a few on my channel but many more in the links. There's no sheet music though, you'll just have to play by ear. I only make electronic music on my computer now but I do miss the collaboration and creative feedback of playing in bands.
