Sony a6000 - Is It Worth Buying In 2020?

i started on that camera and never felt the urge to upgrade :D one thing has to be said tho: the kit lens is trash and what you "safe" on the body with sony, you lose on the glas as canons glass is cheaper...xD which luckily doesn't matter if you adapt vintage glass 90% of the time.

should i buy sony a6000 or panasonic lumix g7? because the g7 have 4k and microphone jack but its have only micro 4/3 sensor.

Bought Sony a6000 2 days ago 😅 before watching this vi. I’m an amateur but hopefully moving from auto mode to Manual 😅

I picked up a Sony a6000 earlier this year and honestly it does not at all feel dated or like it is as old as it really is. I got mine used so it shows its age a little but its nothing bad and I use my Great Grandfather's lenses with it and it really makes for some interesting pictures with things like a 50mm f/2 vintage prime. Love this camera but I do kinda wish it could do 120fps in some resolution but at the same time I shoot way more pictures than I do video so that is not the end of the world. Still a great camera and I think this is gonna be my camera of coice for at least the next few years.

I found one yesterday on Offer Up ($370) it's in 10+ condition with original packaging... 👍

How long will i be able to use it without getting outdated?

but its still a great camera for both video and photo at 2020

Super video ! You say it's relevant for a beginner, but for an amateur, or should I say an enthusiast ? I take picture since 2012... I'm not a pro, far from it, but I used a6000 in 2014, the fuji xt10, the olympus OMD EM10 II... Wouldn't the A6000 be a little outdated by one of those ?

Yes it is because as far a still photos I cannot tell a difference between the a6000 and the a6600.

Do you have any recommendations for shooting on a mode with this camera. Having problems with the shutter speed going to low. Wish you can limit the shutter speed like other cameras.
