ОтветитьThe music is soooo good
Ответитьwe absorb nitrogen
Ответитьout here saving lives
ОтветитьI Got lost😭
ОтветитьNicely explained !! 😁👍🏻👍🏻
Ответитьif you dont know what bacterias are its purely magical for ya
ОтветитьMy exam is tomorrow, thx I wasn't knowing assimilation and nitrification ❤❤
Ответитьpov the night before the exam
ОтветитьThis was helpful 2 mi.thnks
Ответитьidk wth am i doing here
ОтветитьGreat video made my willie rise out of my pants
ОтветитьN2 - NH4 - NO2 - NO3
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьMy summary
Nitrogen from the atmosphere enters the soil (via snow, rain)🌨
Nitrogen is a stable element 😎so it needs to be converted into another form (that's soluble in water)
Nitrogen-FIXING bacteria add hydrogen to the nitrogen = ammonia -> this is nitrogen FIXATION
NITRIFYING bacteria add oxygen to the ammonia = nitrites = NITRIFICATION
NITRIFYING bacteria add more oxygen to nitrites = nitrates
Plants can use the nitrates🪴
Bacteria turn the nitrates back into nitrogen = DENITRIFICATION
Thank you sooooo much! I never really understood the nitrogen cycle when my teacher's explained it too me, but you made it easy to understand!🥰
im in grad school.. thank you!
ОтветитьThanks a lot .It was much helpful
Ответитьnitrogification
ОтветитьThis is so helpful!!!!! I have a really big bio test tomorrow!
ОтветитьThank you ilysm
Ответитьyall in high school… i’m learning this and im in Junior high…
Ответитьvery useful video, simple and understandable. Textbook was too complicated and teacher did not explain
ОтветитьThis actually helped me sm thank u
ОтветитьThank you for explaining this. I can now teach my biology students better
Ответитьthank you I am cramming for my test and I am convinced my teacher never went to teachers college. you're a life saver
Ответить👍🏾 thanks. New subscriber
ОтветитьGot the biology exam tomorrow. I knew nothing about nitrogen cycle. Now I’m going to pass. (Hopefully)
ОтветитьReally help me alot on reporting this diagram,in my general biology class
ОтветитьWhat a video man thank yiu
Ответитьcurious as to what plant is in the illustration though
ОтветитьBEST VIDEO
ОтветитьAwsome video, how did you make the animation, which softwate?
ОтветитьTo summarize,
1. Falls in the form of snow or rain (precipitation)
2. Enters the soil and finds bacteria on the roots of plants
3. Nitrogen is combined with hydrogen to make ammonia ←-- nitrogen fixation
4. Ammonia is combined with oxygen ←-- nitrification
5. The form of nitrogen is now called “nitrite” (NO2)
6. Additional bacteria convert nitrite to nitrates (NO3).
7. Plants absorb nitrates by doing assimilation.
8. Some nitrates can escape to the bacteria
9. Bacteria release the nitrates into the atmosphere ←- “denitrifying”
And the cycle continues
If an animal eats the nitrogen, it is released once the animal dies or poops
Decomposers use the dead animal waste to continue the nitrogen cycle ←-- “ammonification”
Thanks alot for the video!!! It made the concept nice and elegant.
Ответитьhelped lots :)
ОтветитьGreat vid!
ОтветитьWould love to hear this without the music.
ОтветитьThis was better than what my teacher explained. Thanks dude
Ответитьyes comments are not turn off yes dream comes true
ОтветитьKool
Ответитьbullet points
Nitrogen cycle
78% of our atmosphere is nitrogen
Nitrogen falls to the soil through precipitation
it finds its way to the soil through bacteria living in the legume root nodules
Nitrogen is combined with hydrogen to produce ammonium in the process of ammonification
Or in test words nitrogen fixation( nitrogen fixing into soil bacteria)
Ammonia is toxic so it is combined with oxygen to create nitrites this process is called nitrification, additional nitrifying bacteria converter these nitrites into nitrates.
Once the bacteria are nitrates they are able to be consumed by plants in a process call assimilation
Although not all the nitrogen is consumed and some of it goes back into the atmosphere and starts where is stated as atmospheric nitrogen
His explanation is more understandable, like literally
Ответитьthanks a lot!
ОтветитьMy bio teacher threw a random worksheet at us and didnt explain anything thank god the Internet exists
Ответитьthank you moo moo science you are the beat
ОтветитьSuch a nice and effective way of explaining the nitrogen cycle🤗 You made the nitrogen cycle much easier to understand. Thank you so much!
