Fallout 4 "Perfect" Build Guide - Starting SPECIAL Stats.

Playing Survival, I’ve grown to make builds that have a strong combat perk from the get go. And not one of the weapon-specific buffs: you don’t know what legendaries will drop, so go for things like: Sniper, Penetrator, or ideally Concentrated Fire. Or melee and get Blitz/ Rooted. I understand wanting a build that has a little of everything, but try going with some 1’s in some stats, and start off strong in combat. Then build up the more utility and roleplaying perks. Early game goes smoother.

About about vats and run and gun balanced build?

I'm addicted to Luck. Better Criticals, Critical Banker, Grim Reaper's Sprint. Comboed with Sneak, I can wreck Deathclaws with a 10mm Pistol.

+40% movement speed gear build, so lower ap drain from sprinting.

Just got the game for March sale. Tbh I never ever would have gone with 1 strength and 1 endurance on a VATS shooter but I'll go ahead and give it a go

I would still grab armorer rank 4 on every character for ballistic weave, but I'm glad you point out that you don't need to spend perk points on other crafting perks to get weapon mods you want. Settlement building and power armor customization are still locked behind some of those perks though, namely gun nut 1 for machinegun turrets and science 1 for water purifiers.

I have a ( probably a dumb one ) question . With spending perk points , for example armorer. It requires level 13 , i am 2 , yet i can submit a point to it. Does it still work , or when i reach lvl 13 ? And is it better to upgrade the special first or spend it on skills ? I mean , if the skill requires a higher level then i am , why give the option to spend a point in it ?? Its my first FO game , and english isnt my language , so forgive me if its a stupid Q .

How would you reccommend looting/buying high lvl mods, things like: ballistic weave, night vision scopes, advanced recievers, the highest stock and so on. Personally I agree with you if it were possible to max out your gear this way. But I've been playing a long time and I wouldn't have gotten close to maxing out my gear playing like this.

Why fairly high perception for run in gun since perception affects vats accuracy

Would it be a good idea to Max out intelligence that way you can level up faster to get other special stats faster

I play siege alot, so my style is: take one or a few out with a sniper, then get close and take them out but quick peeking from cover and if I can't, I'll push and just shoot the head. I'll do that until they're dead. I usually have a few nades or an rpg for bosses that will hurt alot and tank (such as swan). Since I have pretty good aim, I rely on that, but I don't run into rooms tanking everything like most cod players do

What a coincidence I'm definitely going with your recommendations. I ended up making my characters name Hannah as well. Looked at TV shows I recently watched & after about 10 min of narrowing names down I picked Hannah which is an FBI agent on Designated Survivor close 2nds were from Arya GOT or Rue from Euphoria lol.

Just started this game and I'm overwhelmed. I think I like vats so far and I generally likes stealth and sniping. A lot of people are saying that those smithing perks are super important. the way those perks are worded it makes it sound like you have to have those perks in order to do upgrades, but your saying that's not the case right?

I spec into endurance since I'd rather sell the chems so I can buy ammo and healing items but thats just my way of playing.
