I quit my job for YouTube, was it worth it?

I don't like the retro future, I've been baited by some of his videos in the past and even if he's got better i just press not interested on any of his content now.. however, super happy that his influence brought your channel to me because i love your videos :D

I think someone telling you you will NEVER do this or that can be a real motivation. I just literally landed my dream job after being told I’d never get it and that I was wasting my time even applying for it. Sometimes you need to take a leap of faith. Will I ever be my own boss like Joey? Probably not, but that’s okay. I’m exactly where I want to be after 7 years of plugging away - dark times on the dole where I’ve literally been scrabbling for pennies to buy cheap beans just to eat something and now, financially very comfortable and I can be the person I envisioned myself being. Never give up folks, and all the best to Joey and anyone else who needs a lift - you’re gonna get there eventually

Wow, l didn't realise how long you have been going for you have done really well, and l wish you all the best for the future, bud. I've still got a lot to learn before I even think about going full-time, but l do have a lot of fun 😃

This isn't a knock at you or anything, but I'm honestly surprised that a channel with ~45K subs and about 30K views per video is enough to sustain full-time.

Again I say this not like "oh noooo" but more like "oh wow. I thought channels needed closer to 1M monthly views to support that"

If it works for you, great! Maybe the CPM has gotten better from when I last checked.
