2023 Nissan Altima | Review & Road Test

Nice review, it's nice ride for sure.

its a nissan for those who dont have the credit for a Toyota or Honda.

There are no "gears"

This is one of the vehicles I'm actually looking at. This, along with the camry and the Malibu. I won't waste my time with the ugly ass Accord that looks like a science experiment gone. Or the Korean brands which are known for catching on fire 🔥. Oh, and the Subaru legacy. Whichever fit my needs will be the one I'll buy.

The answer to why Big Altima Energy is a thing: Nissan finances EVERYONE

Lost my interest as soon as you mentioned it comes with a CVT transmission. And that poor backup camera resolution. What’s up with that?

+1 for acknowledging the negative stigma surrounding traditional Altima drivers. Keep it real.

Too bad according to the comments here that Nissan will be discontinuing it. There are still customers that want a sedan with a separate trunk and not a plastic cladded station wagon on tippy toes marketed as a crossover.

Since the Altima is being discontinued in 2025 there's no reason for Nissan to do a complete redesign. They just do incremental changes for every model year.

I have this car and same color! I love my altima!!

No rear vents, and a CVT are an immediate no for me.

Any new vehicle in this price point that can't include interior LED lights for 1-2$ is cutting way too many corners.

The fact that Nissan doesn't offer AWD on the turbo charged SR trim is idiotic. Kia actually does the same thing for their K5 GT which is probably the biggest reason my family went with the Sorento SX (Prestige equivalent in the Canadian market) instead.

I don't understand the hate for cvts in cars like this. Do you really think the ppl buying altimas know what a cvt is lol.

2025 is the last year. Altima drivers don't need turn signals.

i wonder if the person who wrote the script intentionally inserted the words "burn" and "Target" for the Black presenter.

A shame this car is driven by owners who's credit score won't finance a paper bag, and now it is driven with missing bumpers, dented doors and a flat tire yet still doing 90mph+ in the middle lane cutting everyone off.

Heard that they are going to discontinue the Altima for '25...pretty much a shame...it's a solid car good for the money.

Looks great but does it overheat going up any hill longer than a mile like all of the Nissans I have ever owned?
