Flew back to the UK from Australia with this Airline never again missed a connection so it took an extra day and food was awful

The longest flight i've taken was GRU-LAX (Sao Paulo, Brazil to Los Angeles, United States). 9.900km, about 12 hours and a TOTAL NIGHTMARE! Legroom in American Airlines is a joke. Never flown with them again and never will fly!

I will catch the same flight on 17 th September for first time.

I just recently flew on the exact same airline and on the exact same Boeing on my return journey. My flight was 15 hours long. However, my flight in the A350 Qatar Airways, the one I took to my destination, felt a little better than the one in the 777-200LR. I definitely found Qatar Airways to be my best airline experience yet.

I am compelled to share my recent devastating experience with Qatar Airways which was characterized by a shocking lack of coordination and customer empathy. My wife and I had a flight scheduled from London to Jakarta with a layover in Doha. Upon arriving at Heathrow and beginning our check-in process, we were informed that our tickets from Doha to Jakarta had been cancelled. A subsequent interaction with a Qatar Airways representative further muddled the situation as they informed us that it was our London to Doha flight that had been cancelled, not the latter.

Despite assurances from the operations supervisor and her team that the issue would be resolved and we would be able to board the flight, we were ultimately denied access due to the flight being overbooked. The chaotic miscommunication and lack of transparency not only led to immense confusion but also subjected us to high levels of stress and disappointment, especially considering my wife is currently pregnant.

We were left in a vulnerable position, with consequential losses including a non-refundable hotel stay at the Jakarta Four Seasons and a subsequent flight from Jakarta to Bali. The sheer lack of accountability from the airline and the casual mention of a 5% overbooking policy was deeply disturbing. It seemed as though the airline placed higher importance on maximizing ticket sales rather than ensuring the peace of mind and satisfaction of their customers.

While we hope to be compensated for our financial losses and emotional distress, the experience has significantly shaken our faith in Qatar Airways. The airline's handling of the situation was far from satisfactory. I advise prospective passengers to consider other options to avoid such disruptive experiences.

At the time of writing this review, we are still waiting for our revised flight tickets and a more comprehensive resolution from Qatar Airways. The entire episode has been a bitter ordeal and has grossly tarnished our view of what was once a reputed airline. The lasting impact on our holiday plans and the toll it took on our wellbeing was far from what one expects when embarking on a journey with an esteemed international carrier like Qatar Airways.

I flew with Qatar last Wednesday (25 Jan.23)from Rome to Doha 5hour stopped Doha3hour20minutes From Doha to Bangkok 6hour20 minutes no delay.I flew with Qatar because many people talked about them good like this good like that so I wanted to see from my eyes the serviced on the plane O.K.with Philippinos hostess they'er nice and friendly I ordered my meals vegetalian a bit salty even breakfast unlucky they didn't have hot powder chilly for passanger even lemon for the Seat I like comfortable movie nord behind the seat I love It because no more remote control before I Always have'd problem with remote I didn't know how to used It.And now Just push the botton can see the Channel you want(films almost African and Indian) no more many snack like before only One pack of chip .Lavatory cleaned(a bit stink).Airport big and long and employee good helped toilet everywhere nice and clean. Food court the price some dish It's 20 Euro for me expensive. Anyway everything O.K.for them next time I want to fly with Saudiarabia my Friends told me good airlines good serviced. Will see soon or with Qatar again.

I flew Delta from Mumbai to New York, 16hrs and 30 minutes in the air. Not comfortable at all.

My longest flight i've ever flown was manila to istanbul with Turkish Airlines in 2021. That was 13hours non stop. Prior to that was 8 hours flight from Manila to Qatar with Qatar Airways ofcourse way back 2016. Both Airlines were top caliber but I'll give a little favor to Qatar because the food was great and the food service was organized and fast. The Turkish cabin crew seemed to be understaff probably related to Covid lay offs. In addition, the Turkish IFE was not functioning well at the time so it made the trip much longer with nothing else to do mid flight aside from trying to sleep. Other than that, both airlines are much better that most of it's competitors. Not bad tho. Cheers to more flying!!🥂

I HAVE TRAVELED TO LAX FROM DXB IS THE LONGEST I HAVE EVER TRAVELED...I HAVE TRAVELED ALL THE THREE MAJOR GULF REGION AIRLINES QATAR AIRWAYS,EMIRATES AND ETIHAD AIRLINES,ALL WAS WITH ECONOMY CLASS AND I HAVE TRAVELED WITH SINGAPORE AIRLINES AND UNITED AIRLINE...FROM MY EXPERIENCE QATAR AIRWAYS WAS THE GOOD SERVICE COMPARATIVELY ALL OF THESE.

My experience on such a long trip and the same airline weeks ago was that never suggest economy to anyone but at least shall do it on premium to make a long story short!

Longest flight is from Fj-Syd-Doha. Didn't even spent 10 minutes in Sydney. Just "in and out" of the country. So it felt like I was travelling from Fiji straight to Doha.
