Sometimes you have to make you own luck. I was a freshman in college and I was at a fraternity party and towards the side of the room was one of the most beautiful girls I’d ever seen drinking a beer and using the top of the fireplace as a table for her beer. I had watched nearly every guy there try to talk to her and all get rejected immediately. But then I saw that the room had a strobe light that would make the room pitch black for about a second every minute. I timed it so I was walking past just as she was putting the beer back on the fireplace. When the room went dark, she hit me in the face with the beer can. I was like “what’s wrong with you” and she was embarrassed and profusely apologizing. Finally, I said, it’s an accident, I think I’ll be fine…so what do you study here when you aren’t punching people in the face. She laughed and we started talking. We were together for the next two years.

Six months into our relationship, I told her the truth about that night and she said that she had promised her friend that they would go out that night to just spend time together and not deal with guys. She said that when she hit me though, she felt so bad that all she wanted to do was make sure I didn’t hate her. I said I knew she would respond that way and she said the whole thing was “pretty smooth if I have to be honest.“

So regardless of if you’re a girl or a guy, think out of the box a little. Don’t be the guy that has hit on her for the 100th time in the exact same way. Be original and you never know what it can spark.

I have a problem . Im 42 , i have a shaved head , told many times im good looking / great shape / handsome / sexy ... but i dont fancy women my age , i like about 27 to 35 tops .
