ОтветитьMy mother smoked 🚬 till she was in her late 50's & had none of the effects you talked about. Minus sweets she did have a very healthy diet.
ОтветитьCan I use a retinol and a separate moisturizer (have little rosacea)? I just bought Cetaphil moisturizer and I soon I want to buy a retinol (age 40s). Most retinols recommend I read is a moisturizer not I’m confused and disappointed in buying Cetaphil.
Ответить"Environmental toxins" is a more accurate term than "pollution." Unfortunately these toxins are difficult to avoid, as they're in food, water and air. Using oral and topical antioxidants, doing an internal cleanse and limiting these toxins as much as possible will help with skin (and anti aging). Thanks for the video :)
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьMe again, this should be interesting! Finally getting a chance to watch it!😊
ОтветитьOne more thing: I take Vitamin D since I get zero sun exposure. Also, as a woman, I’m prone to Osteoporosis.
ОтветитьI hate the sun and I live in Florida! At 57, I haven’t been in the sun since I was 18. My husband’s an M.D. and has a very well established practice, therefore doesn’t want to move. We do have a second home in London, and I love the weather there! I’ve never done anything to my face. I’ve never had an injection-nothing, and I haven’t a spot or wrinkle. I wash my face with a gentle cleanser, pat it dry with a bamboo towel, and then apply glycerin, moisturizer, and then unscented baby sunscreen with an SPF of 50. I do this every day. I exfoliate just once per week with an OTC non-abrasive exfoliant. I drink a lot of water, I’m a vegan and I don’t eat junk food or drink caffeine. I work out in our home gyms 5x per week. I don’t drink out of straws as they can cause wrinkles around the mouth. I use Vaseline under my eyes and on my lips. I don’t apply perfume on my neck or chest, as it contains alcohol which is very drying. I apply it on my pulse points on the back of my wrists. I’ve never tasted alcohol in my entire life, I don’t smoke or use drugs unless it’s an RX. When my youngest son and I go out together, people think he’s my husband. I also get plenty of sleep. Healthy skincare works!
ОтветитьI get enough sleep, drink water, wear sunscreen, moisturize, eat healthy food and my skin is still crap
ОтветитьCould you do daily routine for your hair including: shampoo, Irestore, etc? Your hair looks so full!!
ОтветитьCan you do a video on hydra facials? What do they do for you, is it worth it or meh? And most importantly YOUR THOUGHTS ON THEM💖💖🙏🏻
ОтветитьI find it so peculiar that we evolved here on Earth, yet the sun does so much damage to us. You would think we’d be adapted to it, or would’ve just naturally been fine with it from the beginning. Were hunter-gatherers dropping dead left and right from skin cancer? They were outdoors all the time. Were they wrinkled up like prunes by age 20? So strange how we are Earthlings, yet have to protect ourselves from the sun.
Ответитьlove this video an great information. dr dray is a true teacher
ОтветитьThanks for explaining the concept of "pollution".
I see advertisement about protecting your skin from pollution but no one explained what it actually is.
Fantastic that you post your sources!
ОтветитьDoes anybody know where she got the pink pineapple ?
ОтветитьI don’t know of a faster way to get people to care about the environment, then to tell them that it it’s giving them wrinkles. 😂 I love this. Thanks Dr. Dray!
ОтветитьVery interesting, what about fat cell restoration and renewal?
Ответитьthanks so much for this video dr. dray - so helpful and interesting
ОтветитьI heard ectoin helps with pollution
ОтветитьOBAGI ???
What do we think ?? Is it worth the splurge ?
Wonder what her thoughts on the 'straws causing wrinkles' hysteria on tiktok
ОтветитьDiet is very important especially eating cruciferous veggies. I sprout broccoli which has the highest concentration of sulfuraphane a phytonutrient that has been shown to increase the excretion of environmental toxins such as benzene.
ОтветитьThat was fascinating. As someone who has been working in an enclosed dry environment and exposed to all kinds of environmental pollution for over 30 years, I've stayed away from using hyaluronic acid on work days. The thought of attracting anything from that environment to my skin makes it crawl. I'll be looking for the chelators you speak of in my next purchases of moisturizers and sunscreens. Thank you so much for the information!
ОтветитьDr. Dray, nothing to do with this video but I am considering buying SkinFix for my very dry skin here in Canada and it's wicked expensive. Was wondering what you might recommend instead? Something with very similar ingredients. Thank you so much..
ОтветитьRandom but multiple of my morning products each contain niacinimide, is that too much niacinimide, should I only use one product with niacinimide in routine
ОтветитьIt is interesting to see how she eventually accepted the term "anti-aging", which she strongly rejected few years ago, explaining that we can't stop nor slow down aging, which is completely reasonable, as it is the result of time and we cannot stop the time. I love her, she knows what she talks about, she helped to resolve a few skincare issues I myself had, but still... She is not imune to Tik-tok and other social media trends, which make her to accept terms, ideas... they promote.
ОтветитьCan a lot of continuous hours from tablets age skin/face?
ОтветитьI've been following for years and I have to say, Dr Dray looks prettier and prettier over time :) Solid proof the advice is solid.
Not a simp comment, I'm gay, just noticing.
Add alcohol to the list... I quit a year ago, and my skin is so much healthier, and heals much faster. Also, I experienced better nutrient absorption, thus better health overall... There is research that shows that heavy drinkers have a condition called “Alcoholic nose,” or drinker's nose, is a skin condition commonly identified by a red, bumpy, or swollen appearance of the nose and cheeks. That's a smoking gun.
ОтветитьHow do you feel about red wine ?
ОтветитьI know this is a late comment but I have a question about fragrances. I know fragrance can be an irritant but my skincare has it in it and it doesn't irritate it. However, I kind if went down the internet rabbit hole and have read internet vlogs that say it causes low grade long term inflammation that can cause premature aging. Is this true? I don't see studies or scientific backed research. I find it hard to believe because the percentage is typically less than 1 percent of the formula and is regulated by ifra. And there are lots of women who have used fragranced skincare like Ponds dry skin cream and oil of olay who have amazing skin that isn't aged at all. I know lots of people avoid it due to skin concerns but I personally enjoy it in my skincare. I have an aftersun lotion that smells beachy and I love it. However now I am scared of potential long term damage?
Ответитьcan someone break down this video?
ОтветитьAll her videos are like lectures!! You get valid information
ОтветитьDr Dray, please make a video on kids (age 3-9) winter skincare for the face and body. Thank you!
ОтветитьThank you for the education Dr Dray
ОтветитьI love how you focus on the funcionality rathrr than appearance❤️thank you!!!!
ОтветитьA product you recommended a few years ago was created to protect against pollution. It was on your seaweed video. Paula’s Choice Triple Algae pollution protection serum It was a part of their Defense line and had high ratings. One of my favorite products that they unfortunately discontinued. I have one more tube left, ugh.
ОтветитьBrilliant! Thank you!
ОтветитьGot it, eat better, get more sleep, and quit my stressful job lol. I got acne, and some texture that I may not be helping.
ОтветитьShe went full scientist on us
ОтветитьKeilator?? I think I missed a chapter
ОтветитьRetinol + Sunscreen 🧴 done! Keep it simple
ОтветитьHi Dr Dray - have you used or heard anything on mild hyperbaric oxygen therapy to help build collagen and detoxify? Wondering your thoughts 💭
ОтветитьThank you very informative information im so glad I do most of these things I work in a environment of diesel trains of a night time I don't leave for work without my vitamin c or coq10 serum or green tea serum or the whole three depending how im feeling that night first thing in the morning I do two clensers first oil then cream clenser then go in with a retin a before bed 🛌 some type of antioxidant I have a few to choose from. If I'm going out in the daylight I allways use a 50 plus sunscreen mostrizer iv found my best one that I'm staying with it's our own made by cancer council of Australia and its excellent our Australian sun is one of the most damaging around not much ozone layer here topped off with a good hat and sunglasses 😎 👌. I try my hardest not to expose myself to to much sun I allso have to suplerment with vitamin d . I don't drink alcohol or smoke at 52 my skin looks good if it does help and rewards you down the track when you look after your skin.
ОтветитьI live in SLC where the pollution was THE WORST IN THE WORLD FOR WEEKS. We have the lowest smoking rates in the country but some of the highest lung cancer rates. We are consistently in the top 5 most polluted cities in the world and more people are moving here causing our air to worsen. Help.
ОтветитьPink pineapple ornament where can I get it
ОтветитьHi Dr Dray! In a recent vlog you commented on not being able to rinse well under/around your chin & jaw. I use Sunland Microfiber Makeup Remover Cloths (Amazon, 6 for $13.99) rather than splash rinsing with my hands. They are 8" x 16" and I lay one across my open palms to catch and "scoop" water from the faucet. They are longer and narrower than washcloth size so I can use the water-soaked ends that hang off my hands to wipe off any remaining soap. Also helps prevent water from splashing up around the sink. I buy the white ones.
Sunland Microfiber Makeup Remover Cloths Reuseable Facial Cleaning Towel.

ОтветитьThank you for another no nonsense video. I love gleaning your knowledge
