ОтветитьThanks for the AV
ОтветитьYou are incredible! Thank you 🙏
ОтветитьI'm approaching my 3rd year of studying architecture..
I've started taking interest when my ex convinced me to take up architecture, and ever since, I've always been coming back to this channel whenever I need inspiration..
It's been quite an experience, too. Many naysayers and doubters, but currently I'm at the top of my class, and recommended for Vice President of our Architecture Students Organization next school year..
This channel is one of the best ones I go to whenever I'm stuck on a project, or need some inspiration. Thank you so much for these type of content and God bless you for sharing all of these with us ❤
👏 👏 👏 👏

ОтветитьSome how the resolution seems so low, is it just the case with me?
ОтветитьI took physics, calculus. Every AP course I could on advice of Dean of Architecture University I wanted to attend. I failed my sophmore year beacause I didnt know how to do Realism in Charcoal. I had Never taken an Art class. Nothing. Ever. 18 years later, i graduated with dregree in Fine Art. And continued working as a Executive Assistant, Program Manager, etc. That I Hated. Hindsight is always 20/20.

Ответитьactually you don't need any fancy stuff. if you want to be an architect you just need a any kind of pencil and knowledge of construction.
ОтветитьThank you sir.
ОтветитьIs it a big problem if an artchitecture student did not have sketching skill before?
ОтветитьIs it just me or is this suggested to all who is interested in art by the algorithm after 3 years of release
Ответитьthese types of vidoes are more intresting than some movies

Ответить"learning to see"
Aye!
Are those barn doors able to roll on tracks from side to side so you can block certain windows in the day when the sun is displayed?
And I would think those windows would be facing the south
Great tutorial! I am drawing since I was 5-6 years old and I stil have room to improve. Im 29 now.
ОтветитьIs that a pencil what type is pencil is that?
ОтветитьNice art
ОтветитьCan I get a Generative one? 😉
ОтветитьVery interesting presentation...it will definitely help my drawings along...
ОтветитьBom dia flor do dia meu girassol 🌻 🌻 🌻 🌻 adorei seus desenhos são lindos gratidão
ОтветитьI can't get used to digital at all. I learned with paper, practiced on paper, and once more, learning again on paper.
ОтветитьCool but if you want to be a real architect, then you must learn a 3d tool for many reasons, the main one is you can't earn money just by doodling and it does not look professional, nobody will spend +100k on a concept that a) could look fine but the b) constructor don't get it, c) the city council don't consider, e) it lacks the spatial multiple-perspective of a 3d model. We haven't sketched in decades and the last time that I draw something by hand was when I was studying. Autocad is a +2 decade-old tool and it could 3d since the early '90s (I prefer Revit).
ОтветитьArchitecture... my broken dream 🥲
Ответить"explore before commit" S. Robertson
ОтветитьCool video, but one thing is for sure - as an architect u cant draw one straight line.
ОтветитьI’ve taught and practised Interior Architecture and design for over 25 yrs. My 90’s education was the last old fashioned way of its kind. - university of Manitoba. Hand sketching is the most valuable skill. It connects mind and thought and vision to page and in doing so a conscious connection to Materiality, line weight, detail, resolution, solution emotion is made. Sketching in front of a client upside down in perspective is my personal best skill. The kids are barely taught this now, and hence the industry is quickly losing credibility of true artistry. Hand drawing and sketching is the only way, Cadd is a tool only. A true designer sketches period.
ОтветитьWait, isn't that a given? An architect being able to draw?
ОтветитьWhat mechanical pencil type is that?
ОтветитьThis was suppose to be my calling, I really messed up and decided to go to automotive school. And after 3 years of classes in high school to prepare me to be an architect. And I'm responsible for my school getting the advanced architecture class. Don't do drugs kids m-kay! 😂
ОтветитьI'm currently grade 9 rn and I wanna be an architect so tanks for this
ОтветитьI’m an engineering student and I’m practicing freehand architectural drawings. It really helps for alleviating stress because freehand doesn’t require you to be perfect. It’s very therapeutic.
ОтветитьWith your sketching did architectural school teach how to sketch in 1point - 3point perspective?
ОтветитьI have always loved this kind of architectural sketchings & wanna do it all time..but never achieved it...thanks beautiful sketches
Ответить"Just allows me to think and process. People always say that it's way more efficient to work in the digital environment and that may be true, but that doesn't always yield the best results. There is this kinda feedback that happens from the page to the brain that I've found hard to replicate in the digital space."
EXACTLY. Lots of people nowadays don't seem to get that. Subscribing.
👍👍
ОтветитьI have an honest question, do you have a pulse problem or is it intentional? cuz I have a really bad pulse problem and I feel like I can't do much about it and drawing and sketching has become so tedious because of the line quality. Any tips?
ОтветитьHi Eric, I’m trying to find out what type of markers you use when colouring in your sketches?
ОтветитьGreat video.
LOL…I’m afraid no one considers me an “architect” because after 40 years I’ve determined that the only sketchbook that consistently seems to work for me is an 8.5 x 14 yellow lined legal pad.
PLEASE MAKE YOUR TEMPLATES IN METERS!!!!! I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS!
ОтветитьThis man lives my dream
