Yoo, what spray primer does Canadian Tire stock? Always looking for an affordable primer, save the good stuff for the minis!

Thumbs down: dude got so high on hot wire fumes he went from wanting to avoid corner pieces to making a corner piece...

How original... Why not a semi circle... And why use pre built windows.. super lazy.

I would suggest sketching out a combat zone with a relatively balanced set of cover structures both man-made and natural. From there, you can figure out what pieces you would need and go from there. Style can be decided when sketching! Once you have a mini map and a landscape sketch, you can make your pieces accordingly

Good tips. There are so many historical architecture styles that can be applied to gaming terrain to make interesting tables.

I've been making my buildings, environment, etc out of card board and recycled materials since 1989 and still do today lol.

I love the foams and 3-d printed stuff, it comes out looking awesome and what not but cardboard costs me nothing, I pay for hot glue and paints and that's it.

I love the videos . I have learned so much so thank you!

I have a question tho.. could u carve a pattern in xps foam(I'm doing a brick/stone pattern. The seal it and resin over it to make a quick pattern mold? So you could just press it into a new piece of foam and that pattern carries over?

Also

Is there a way to make a flexible path that you could lay on a map or table that could kind of follow and fit whatever may you lay it on w out it being to stiff?

Love to hear what u have to say ... thanks !

Lovely! That pseudo-morrocan aesthetic really brings the Mobius/Chronicles of Riddick vibe. I can see why the corner piece is so popular, but I can't help feeling we're not asking enough of our terrain. Are there ways to make it useful in-game beyond built-in dice towers and turn trackers? Are there options for creating interesting choices beyond choke-points and elevation? Love the One Page Rules minis, by the way. Seriously considering kit-bashing some Duchies of Vinci guys into a Stargrave crew.

Hi! I'm new on your channel and i found your works amazing! I saw a lot fo your videos about make terrains and...
MAY I CHALLENGE YOU??
I have never found a video of anyone making the interior of a biostarship, like the tyranids hive ships. I think the difficult part is to create a biological aspect, being the inside of a living being, rather than a biomechanical aspect, as many tend to create in certain drawings that I see on the net. What do you think about it? would you like to test yourself and your skills?

I've recently had the idea of making onion/dome topped buildings using Christmas baubles, which could fit into Slavic, Indian or Middle-Eastern inspired buildings. There's a fully rounded half, and also a half with a point on the top (to put the string around the tree branch) to mount a statue or some kind of icon/ornament to. Additionally, they come in different textures. Some are fully smooth, some have fancy ridges and curves on the surface, and some have a diamond pattern. That's about 6 different variations on the domes. With all of those different options, I think baubles would make for excellent domes. I haven't tried it just yet, but I'm excited to do so.
Sorry for the wall of text lol

Haha its nice seeing you mention the styrodur bricks that we've been using. For some reason, the foam in construction here isn't used in the thin sheets that you have and instead it's all styrodur (with a textured outward face...). As a result if I want to closely replicate something you did, I have to cut the brick into sheets (and I don't have a hot wire, its all blade baby!) or just change the approach entirely. Then again that's only good for me and my creativity, it's kinda more fun that way! :D
This build came out nicely!

It was a bit more distinct.

I'm considering something Indian in inspiration next

I made some generic ruins just a bit ago. The one thing that made them more interesting is that they had a skeleton of Construx toys that a friend gave me. Using those meant I was pulled away from straight walls and right angles. Some stone wallpaper imported from England and some dollar store clipboards that had a tile like texture added easy detail. Then I poured on sprue bricks and kitty litter. I also used the bricks and litter to make rubble hills that could mix in but just be hills rules wise.

I just realized that if you use the BMC mod podge primer and THEN use a texture roller on top of that it is significantly more crisp and higher quality than if you texture roll it first and then use the BMC mod podge primer.

When you acquire said foam and supplies will you be selling direct only or would you consider also selling to FLGSs?
