How to ensure the Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration (CUDA) is turned on in Adobe Premiere Pro

You are not supposed to always just use GPU encoding unless you really know what are you doing.
The reason is, GPU encoding gives you lower quality than software encoding.

Pls I want to ask on my system is only showing o render software play engine only. If I clik on the cuda playback is not accepting it what can I do to enable cuda playback

My Mercury Acceleration CUDA is an available option (not greyed out) but when I select it, then come back to the menu page, it reverts back to Software Only. I downloaded the CUDA toolkit and updated all drivers and it keeps reverting. Any idea? Thanks

Great video 😁 I have an issue: When I'm starting a new project, my 'Renderer' section is grayed out. I can't select the other options. I've watched a bunch of videos on trying to fix this problem (adding the graphic card in txt form to the Premier folder, modifying the value from 0 to 1, etc.) and nothing is working. If u can, could u please tell me how to fix this problem so I can choose the other Renderer options in the 'New Project' window? Thanks.

my GPU is on but when i create like time remapping for a footage to speed up really quick, the footage doesn't play properly, any idea??
