First Inventor to File, Video #1

Seems like it’s a rip off. Seems like it’s the law has been passed by rich people to rip off people that don’t have as much money as that I hate to say it, but that’s what it seems like to me.

The 8 month delay in between the filing date and the effective filing date made no sense to me without further explanations.

I have an invention and want to get a provisional patent. Recently on an online forum I found someone who made the same invention for his own personal use, he gave a brief (2-3 sentence) description and a picture of the invention...Can I still get a patent on the idea even though the idea was posted on a public forum several years ago?

I think the animation is too much and takes away from the substantive content.

The USPTO is such a great resource for inventors.  Thanks to John, Tony and Elizabeth!   I enjoyed meeting you in Wichita Kansas and am so thankful for your assistance to independent inventors.
