How to: Clean Install macOS High Sierra

May 28 2023 STILL USING YOUR VIDEO!!! I have a 2.6 iMac mini…was using Open Legacy UNTIL 6.6-what a horror show-I couldn’t even see the web pages so I couldn’t see where to download the patch…HORROR SHOW… decided to go back to High Sierra…thank you for your video-in the process of finishing it up!

Hi I did this and followed all the steps but its been days and my mac book air is stuck on the black screen with the apple logo and its frozen.
Can someone please help me because my laptop has important stuff like memories on it.

It won’t let me put the password. What do I do

Usually how long it will it take to install this?

thank you. I just did clean install Mac OS High Sierra on my old 12yo MacBook Air-256G. It got a lot better performance. No more bug nor virus. Again Thank ET.

I am not clear on the password to make the install usb. Is it to allow your computer to create it (and thus must be an admin user password), or is it a password that will travel with the USB?
Also you did not use the from Time Machine option in order to create a clean install. So after the clean install how do you get all your data from time machine?

So will I have to buy a drive and download my personals onto it? Or is there more to it? I apologize if you answered this in the video it’s currently late where I am and I’ve been at this for awhile and in need of help.

Amazing tutorial... yesterday i had Aple on the phone to try and assist me to create the boot disk,, after watching your video it worked forst time and i have managed to create the disk and do a clean installation....Its just updating now so hopefully all will be good.... Many thanks
