Dark Gothic Music of Old Ruins and Ancient Temples

So glad I came across this song while listening to Exploring Series reading on an SCP article. His work is great but, the ambience your work provides along with, is such a perfect combo of mystery, and gives a such an amazing vibe of dark esotericism that is befitting of an SCP Article. I hope your work goes a long way.

I picked this out specifically to read The Fly:Outbreak comic to. I had no idea it exists until some Brit reviewed the 80s movie and its sequel on another YT channel.

Music like this tells a story without using a single word. Magnificient.

I came up with a little rule for my homebrew for when players walked into the "Cursed Woods" in my setting, where a darkness has set. At first I was just going to make things darker and smelly, but then I realized there should be a mechanic where the darkness tries to convert you to be its servant, by slowly eroding away at your psyche.
In my homebrew, Resilience (much like DND constitution and will) determines your maximum HP and also your resistance to magic. Each 12 hours you spend in the darkness (which adds up considering the darkness is expansive and multiple days of travel through it would not be out of question), you roll a d20 DC 10 resilience "save," on a failure you take -1 to resilience. It stacks, when you have a -5, you start to lose control of your character. The GM should control your character's behaviors to make them more evil, and show that the character is becoming mindlessly controlled.
This eventually completely takes over the spirit of anybody who enters the Cursed Wood, and you can bet the Cursed Wood is growing and displacing more people, turning them into servants who attack anyone who is not converted to the God of Death's faith.
Those who enter converted to the God of Death's faith will very involuntarily rapidly give up their body to the darkness, because they entered the Cursed Wood with full devotion and sacrifice within their heart. Only those who are able to be steadfast in the mind and conscientiously resist turning can keep their faith until they leave the cursed wood where it will be restored, but even they can overstay their welcome and get turned.
I'm inspired by the images from Vermis. Also similar idea to how baldurs gate CHP 2 works although I haven't beaten that part yet.

Editors didn't include a cut to The Exorcis?. Strange i was just waiting for it. A parody at least. Next, the tenet will be struggling with the tough decision to evict her after she spider walked down the stairs and hurled obscenities at everyone in the vicinity. Eviction is a harsh step, however.

The unsettling melodies and spine-tingling harmonies in this piece make it a perfect fit for any horror-themed project. I could easily see this being used in a scene where the protagonist is slowly realizing they're not alone in the house, or where they're being chased by an unknown entity. The music amplifies the fear factor and makes it impossible to look away.

This makes reading the exorcist way more scary

May I ask if this painting is a Caspar David Friedrich painting?? If it isn't..it really resembles his awesome artwork that I really admire.
