Now the question is, are you going to port it to mobile platform after it gets fully developed?
ОтветитьAmazing work! I love your videos! I would love to know what program your game is built on, if I may ask?
ОтветитьThat's a good cave soundtrack, not gonna lie.
ОтветитьLove the cave song, it turned out great!
Ответитьdamn! that song's a slap!
ОтветитьVery seamless, nice.
ОтветитьWhat are you using to make music?
Ответить10/10 game .
ОтветитьCan you tell me all the tools that you are using
ОтветитьThis is amazing.... I am yet to get where you are .. keep going buddy......
ОтветитьWill you release the OST for Free or will it be a thing we could buy?
ОтветитьI'm the exact opposite. I love level design but know absolutely nothing about mechanics
ОтветитьSo cute i just love your art style, also, do you think you could recrete this esthetic in a 2moth long timeframe (kinda like a game jam)
ОтветитьCan you please make a water swimming tutorial, I tried everything but it just won´t work.
ОтветитьWhat did you use to make the music?
ОтветитьAre you developing this game in gdevelop
Ответитьhmmm, just a little question. which do you prefer? giving the player know the exact amount of health he have right now by showing it in text, or just a health bar without a text?
ОтветитьMultiplayer?
Ответитьwhat do you use to code? As a young coding learner, I like to see devlogs to see the structure of the game, and I was wondering; how would I manage to add specific things to my game? i.e. if I wanted to add spikes, how would they know when to spring the spikes? and start the animation loop. I'm really interested and I am looking forward to seeing what other videos you have created :)
Ответитьwhat software do you use to make the songs?
ОтветитьMan I love your dev, It's fun, interesting, inspiring, and give me ideas for my game too
ОтветитьQue pasada felicidades🎉🎉
ОтветитьLooks amazing, a few suggestions: have the ability to save whenever - it can be frustrating when you need to hop off the game immediately and you cant without losing progress, maybe use the sunflowers as a safe zone where you reset your health? Also making the trees transparent when you are behind or near them will help the player know where they can and cant go as I saw a path completely hidden by a tree
ОтветитьYo, I didn't knew there was a cave! Extremely cool, keep up the awesome work, Challacade! :D
ОтветитьI would recommend doing a combination of procedurally generated dungeons and hand-made ones, or using the procedural dungeons to serve as a base for hand made ones.
ОтветитьLooks amazing as usual! Are you looking for any volunteer artists? I’m a game dev / digital artist and love helping out other devs with concept art, splash art, and pixel art to help speed along development. :)
ОтветитьYour work is fantastic! Love the cave song <3
Ответитьthe randomly generated dungeon algorithm might be useful as a development tool to use to generate a starting place for a dungeon idea and then manually refine it out from there
Ответитьcan't wait to see how this game grows!!
ОтветитьCool
ОтветитьI really loved the area with the super tall trees
ОтветитьI really enjoyed your music, it fits really well!
ОтветитьSuggestion, you should keep the procedurally generated dungeon for one of the dungeons. Having one changing shape each play through would add to the replay-ability.
ОтветитьLike
ОтветитьNice great work as always !
ОтветитьDoes the fire spell light up dark areas like the cave
ОтветитьThat cave music is cool :)
Ответитьi really do hope this game comes out i been following this project for a while
ОтветитьSo I got an idea especially for the hook. So like it could be lightly used in dungeons and then have the dungeon fall apart as the boss health goes down but also have hook bases where you can hook your character and be able to use magic and bow to fight a long range boss. Or have a timed attack where it'll do an area base damage like a bomb but still give the character enough time to hook out of danger. I want to dig into your project but I lack coding knowledge xD. You could also do like spell upgrades. So start off with like a fireball and end up with maybe like a meteor area attack or even like a fire bow same idea with ice. I also had an idea of a pet system with everything you got going on it could feed off the gold you collect. I fought the boss and it was nice, you could add like a skeleton from dark souls 3 where you have to beat each hand before taking off the skeleton head. The light is cool but I believe is overpowered. You could start off using it against 1 enemy and also have a mana system instead of the cool down. Or even have a combo beat up like in street fighter after attacking so much you build up your special meter. I was kinda surprised you didn't add a shield. A counter system would be pretty cool. Have like knights with swords do quick attacks and if you shield at the right minute it causes like a slow time effect where you can attack and stun the enemy. Or just have it stun automatically after the counter. Since you have a floating you could add islands and have sea monsters and a couple sea monsters where gou would be unable to use stuff like spells and would have to rely on sword and bow with hook. I got a lot more ideas so hopefully you'll get something going. I will take aook at your project maybe I can figure it out xD.
Ответитьlove your videos, ive learned ALOT from them :)
ОтветитьAmazing work! Fluid and the music is awesome! You inspire me to pick up the project I've abandoned for a while now. Thank you!
ОтветитьThis actually does get me kind of excited!
ОтветитьMy anxiety every time I see that it is closer to publishing the game: 📈
Ответитьi was so excited to see new episodes of this series as i recently discovered this channel! amazing video, really love how you showcase the interpretation of the features you add! i hope you get more recognition!
ОтветитьMay the 4th be with you
