How to Install OpenSSL / Enable Https on Ubuntu 18.04 - 20.04

I am getting this error:
"req: Can't open "apache.key" for writing, Permission denied"

systemctl restart apache2 is not working and i have check the systemctl status also it shows its failed is there any solution

after creating the certificate folder and typing in that long command i get an error "command 'openssl' not found, but can be installed with: apt install openssl"

I've tried so many different methods, all in vain!

Tried this and on the final step when I typed "systemctl restart apache2", it gave me an error message saying apache2.service failed because the control process exited with error code.

systemctl status apache2.service says the server is not active anymore.

I followed your instructions now I don't know what's wrong. Can you help please?

Upon checking, this is the exact error why i wasn't able to restart it:
"AH00558: Could not reliably determine the server's fully qualified domain name".

Use nano instead of vi , after typing into the file . Press ctrl-o then enter key and press ctrl-x
