Hillsong United
Eu vejo o Rei da glória
Vindo nas nuvens com fogo
A terra inteira treme, a terra inteira treme
Eu vejo Seu amor e misericórdia
Lavando todos os nossos pecados
O povo canta, o povo canta
Hosana, hosana
Hosana nas alturas
Hosana, hosana
Hosana nas alturas
Eu vejo uma geração
Levantando-se para tomar seu lugar
Com uma fé altruísta, com uma fé altruísta
Eu vejo um avivamento se aproximando
Se agitando conforme nós oramos e buscamos
Estamos de joelhos, estamos de joelhos
Hosana, hosana
Hosana nas alturas
Hosana, hosana
Hosana nas alturas
Cura meu coração e o torne limpo

Amen!
ОтветитьHoly and powerful prayer in a song🙏

ОтветитьHo•sha na, Hosanna, is a liturgical word in Judaism and Christianity. It means: ‘save us (or someone’s name) please.’
‘Hosanna,’ which is a supplication for God’s salvation, was the shout of praise or adoration made in recognition of the Messiahship of Jesus, Yeshua, on his triumphal entry into Jerusalem,
“Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord”
John 12:13
In the Old Testament it appears as ‘ho•shi•ah na,’ which means exactly the same:
“Save us, we beseech you, O Lord! O Lord, we beseech you, send us prosperity!”
Psalms 118:25
It is applied in many
Hosanna" is a way to shout out for help. There are two Hebrew words that combine to form the word hosanna. The first, yasha, means to deliver or save. The second, anna, is begging or beseeching. Together, they form the word hosanna, or begging to be saved. We see these Hebrew root words in Psalm 118:25: "Save us, we pray, O LORD! …"
ОтветитьSo "Hosanna!" means, "Hooray for salvation! It's coming! It's here! Salvation! Salvation!"
And "Hosanna to the Son of David!" means, "The Son of David is our salvation! Hooray for the king! Salvation belongs to the king!"
And "Hosanna in the highest!" means, "Let all the angels in heaven join the song of praise. Salvation! Salvation! Let the highest heaven sing the song!"
But something happened to that phrase, hoshiya na. The meaning changed over the years. In the psalm it was immediately followed by the exclamation: "Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!" The cry for help, hoshiya na, was answered almost before it came out of the psalmist's mouth. And over the centuries the phrase hoshiya na stopped being a cry for help in the ordinary language of the Jews. Instead it became a shout of hope and exultation. It used to mean, "Save, please!" But gradually, it came to mean, "Salvation! Salvation! Salvation has come!" It used to be what you would say when you fell off the diving board. But it came to be what you would say when you see the lifeguard coming to save you! It is the bubbling over of a heart that sees hope and joy and salvation on the way and can't keep it in.
So "Hosanna!" means, "Hooray for salvation! It's coming! It's here! Salvation! Salvation!"
Mark 11:10: “Blessed is the coming kingdom of our father David! Hosanna in the highest!”
John 12:13: “So they took branches of palm trees and went out to meet him, crying out, ‘Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord, even the King of Israel!’”
Hosanna also appears to have multiple meanings beyond a mere, “Save me, Lord.” It is a cry for salvation and also is a cry of thanks. Two polar opposites coming together: cries for help and cries of praise. It’s typically spoken in a rejoicing fashion. People who shouted it often intended to say, “At last, salvation has come to us. After a long wait, it’s finally here.” The word comes from two roots: yasha and anna. Yasha stands for delivers, and Anna: please. In essence, the word boils down to: please, save us, our deliverer."
ОтветитьHosanna is often thought of as a declaration of praise, similar to hallelujah, but it is actually a plea for salvation. The Hebrew root words are found in Psalm 118:25, which says, “Save us, we pray, O LORD!” (ESV). The Hebrew words yasha (“deliver, save”) and anna (“beg, beseech”) combine to form the word that, in English, is “hosanna.” Literally, hosanna means “I beg you to save!” or “please deliver us!”
ОтветитьHosanna:
It is of Hebrew origin and was part of the shout of the multitudes as Jesus entered Jerusalem: “Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest heaven!” (Matthew 21:9)
I know is an older song . But thank you Lord for giving Brooke the words to this song
