The BEST USB-C Thunderbolt Hub / Docking Station

Would be interesting to see a comparison with other similar hubs, like the OWC one. The video couldn't be sponsored by any of the manufacturers though.

Business got around 60 or so of these for offices. Things are pieces of junk. Constantly disconnecting then reconnecting on all models connecting to various Windows and Mac model laptops.

The problem I have is not enough usb-c ports. Don’t care about USB A need C. Even Ankers 13-1 don’t provide enough USB-C. I have connected to mine 3 external Hard drives, the other day my Mac-mini shut down two of the drives for drawing to much power. Could I take the Anker and plug a usb c hub into one of the USB-c ports and get around the power issue?

Great review! If I were to use a Thunderbolt 3 laptop, is it just incompatible for the multiple screens? Or it wouldn't work totally for all the ports at all?

which genious product designer thought that connecting the computer to the front is a good idea?!?! how ugly will that cable look on the desk? the hole point would be to hide all the cables in the back while keeping the usable ports clean for day to day work. :(

I don't know how many times I have been bored out of my skull as well as left frustrated at the most simplist questions being left unanswered only to find myself searching through video after video programs . . . ready to do some frustrated screaming at the monitor which would serve no practical purpose at all! Thanks for that -- I probably would not have known, for instance, the information about the Mac with the M1 Chip having difficulty with all those monitors being plugged into all those ports; however, since I won't need those features to do that -- I don't forcast any complications in thatb area!

How did you connect two screen with only HDMI with extended display option? I can connect two screen with mirror mode only. I can do extended with on HDMI and one USB-C ports. I a, using 2020 MacBook Pro with Intel i5

Is it possible to use the USB A from the dock to connect to a TV and get Internet signal via a USB A cable? If the dock is connected to the Ethernet cable of course. I wonder if it`s possible, so I wouldn`t need to have a USB A to Ethernet adapter to connect Internet to the TV.

Do you need a dock with DisplayLink.

As aggressively as this dude is handling all of his equipment and they're all still working, I'd say this is a very good product and safe to purchase.

Can someone help out a non techie who is looking for a station to connect a laptop to an ultrawide monitor? My laptop does not have thunderbolt, it has one USB-C input. Does that mean that I need to find a station that is only USB-C? Or can I use this station or others like it that have Thunderbolt, but just not use the Thunderbolt connection?

I bought this beast! But when my laptop is connected to the doc, it opens up multiple instance of an app! I had 113 excel files open by its own! What is up? Please help me resolve that as i am confident apart from that everything is supper perfect

One question for Aneker... Why is the PC connection in the front? It makes my desk look messy and takes up space. That needs to be in the back!

My MacBook is from 2021 has a an SD card reader and an HDMI port. the SD card reader is appreciated, but the HDMI one is not as all my monitors are usb c monitors....  was doing the right thing by including less as it makes the product cheaper and nicer looking for those of use who have gotten with the times and moved on. i despise people who still waste the earth's precious materials to make and use usb a and other legacy ports.
