Not surprised! Triumph Street Triple is awesome! Kawasaki Z800 is really good too. Now with the 900 it's even better. Disappointed in the MV Agusta Brutale if this review is anything to go by... Yamaha XSR900 doesn't have the throttle issue that the MT-09 does and I really dig the XSR900!

I'd still take the MT-09 unless we comparing to the Triumph Speed triple. New 2020 Street triple does have absolutely beautiful styling! Yamaha still kicks ass when factoring in price.

Ok I know this video was some years ago, but I just got a used 2013 Triumph Street triple S. She only had 1800 miles on it and never been in the rain.
I love this bike, it's incredible and so fun to ride. It's my first street bike but I know a good bike when I sit on it. I have road dirt all my life and love dirt riding I have a 2018 KTM 500 exc-f.
I'm starting to get used to the feel of the Trumph it is surprisingly different than a dirt our dual sport bike. I think it's still the best out there in terms of rideability and quality of build.
I have thought about the 2020 Triumph but DAM my bike rides so sweet.
I have thought about changing up the front sprocket and drop it a tooth. Just to give it a little more torque on the bottom end, okay make it a little easier to get a front wheel up. LoL

Just purchased a 2013 Brutale 800 in the UK in 2019... despite what this review says, I dare you to go and ride one. In the words of Jeremy Clarkson, a vehicle needs floors/imperfection for you to love it like you would a human (no one is perfect). To me, that’s what my MV is. Makes me very excited every time I ride it and I can’t stop looking back at it when I get off. I know it’s less reliable and parts take forever to come but somehow I don’t care. I can’t say I’d be like this with the other bikes... subjective of course though and I appreciate that. I do feel however that this upload gives the Brutale a hard time.

Why is every review on the bikes on what the bike can do at a moment. How about some true world specs. Here in US we have interstate roads they are quit consistent . Not so many bumps so no worries about bouncy response on the bikes suspension. What I'm worried about is consistent speed with not high rpm good passing power and a decent mpg and most important reliability trust me it sucks getting stuck 500 miles from home and calling AAA. I own an FZ8 2012 and sv650s 2001 36000 miles(57936 km) and 50000 miles sv ( 80467 km) on my babies never stranded nothing but standard maintenance. My friend with the Speed triple 675 constant problems left me stranded because of his problems. Instead of Brembo state of the art brakes and fully adjustable suspension give me an engine that will not leave me stranded. "Putting feathers up your butt does not make you a chicken".

I really really like how Kawasaki lets the Z800 present itself! Even though its a Naked bike, you can tell they really thought the presentation of the bike through! With its Gorgeous Motor sitting there like its sitting in a picture frame all nice and clean and on purpose! To me personally, the Z800 is definitely the best looking of them all!! Second would be Street Triple, Third... MV Agusta,

I agree with 99% of you said. But the engine cover IS a design flaw. Regardless if riding with or without proper gear. It simply sticks out and it hits you leg. I've ridden xt660. Speed triple. Drz. Srad. Even Harley and none of them had this issue.
