If it was a manga than I'd choose One Piece or Berserk, but I think Monster is much better as an animated project. It didn't give more fluff (15 mins or less episodes depending on opening and closing + flashbacks and filler) and didn't have its story cut short. I would agree with One piece if only it wasn't over produced to death to make it slower for Oda to write the manga, hence the need for ONE PACE.

This is the easiest question ever for me. Obviously the greatest anime of all time is Dragon Ball Z. How could it not be? It's the singular series that influenced a ton of popular shounen. It was still relevant 20 years later after everything ended, so much so that we got a new series out of it that spawned countless new fans as well as 4 different movies so far. We're even getting another new web series pretty soon.

I felt sad when Rurouni Kenshin: Samurai X wasn't mentioned. This anime made me fall in love with Japan and I hope to go there one day.

There is no such thing as the “best anime”
Everyone has opinions my opinion is there is no “best anime” in the world so the simple answer for me would be Bungo Stray Dogs it’s not “ThE bEsT” but it’s really good and I enjoy it I own the mangas and recently started to watch the anime (which leaves out a lot of good parts and stuff like any other anime compared to the manga)

My favorite anime would be Jujutsu Kaisen, specifically Hidden Inventory…
It was a peek of characters we are familiar of in Season 1 and the movie, and was full of context of what happened after this arc.
What really made it stuck for me is those two characters, you know which characters lol. It really reminded me how such friendships can end, that your carefree youth will be just memories, how you or other people can be influenced by eachother‘s ideas and mindset, all this concept really resonated to me more than anything else. The opening and ending song just made this specific arc for me even meaningful and also a banger (to cry to). This was an important piece of the story for its character building, and after watching this and rewatching the whole series again everything just makes more sense.
