Loads of blessings ur way for the effort and thoughtfulness that has gone into this class. I couldn't quite understand the last pelvic traction. May b with practice. Is it safe to practice this set daily with sciatic nerve pain

ОтветитьThanks for this and all of your videos! I love your classes. I have sway back, but it's also associated with misaligned and very tight hips. Therefore, I can't really do twists without hurting my lower back. If you could also do a sway back video that's less twist-intensive, it would be great!

I love this type of almost workshop-style practice once in a while to remind me to slow down and pay attention to proper body mechanics while I'm practicing. Thank you SO much for this class! I have watched you for years, knowing that your cues tend to help me avoid sinking into my anterior pelvic tilt issues. Many other creators don't - and I think it is because their hips have the opposite pattern. I've always said I need to find creators with the same tendencies as what I have. The lived experience is what makes the difference.
This is a master class in feeling out and soothing the weakness and tightness that I live my whole life within. Thanks so much for this video. I only found it today, but I know I've searched specifically for it for years. Great to see its coming from you!

ОтветитьI've had weak glutes, tense hip flexors, lower back pain... and i didn't know why regardless what i would do to fix these problems. but recently i realized that i have an anterior pelvic tilt! it all makes sense now. I have been practicing yoga for 10 years and practice backbends and my backbends tend to bend more at the lower back and it feels good, from your video i realized that it feels good because of my anterior pelvic tilt which is not the best for it. What is your advice, should i stop practicing backbends like dropping back into wheel, king pigeon pose, bending back in anjeneyasana? or do i practice them just without bending the lower back and only slightly having a heart opening? i feel that is difficult to do especially with king pigeon pose. What is your advice? thank you <3

I have been doing yoga with you for a Iong time but I probably never commented... however, I recommend you often to my friends, because your classes are really way more than just exercise! :) Thank you very much for this one, l am happy this topic got adressed. It felt so relaxing on my sway back and the little burn in the core was also needed. Also, it's good to hear that it's not just me who feels uncomfy in classic savasana, haha! I didn’t realize until recently that my low dull back aches were from lordosis/APT. I’m a massage therapy student and having poor body mechanics caused stiffness in my lumbar back for months. Now learning about weakness and tightness with school brought me to your video. ❤

ОтветитьLove this sequence, thank you so much! I was recently diagnosed with this due to massive lower back pain. There haven't been a lot of yoga practices that I've seen that address this condition, and I'm so grateful. I also love all the knowledge you impart; I know you said you talked a lot throughout, but I found it really helpful. You have brought so much awareness; I now understand why sometimes when I do yoga, or even meditate, in the wrong position I'm in a lot of pain. Understanding the mechanics is super helpful.
