ОтветитьI've never flown before... so what does "finding a terminal mean" on the signs you showed, it stated gates
I'm pretty sure it's simple, but I'm freaking out.
Thank you so much! Flying internationally very soon.
ОтветитьVery helpful! I've only flown once when I was a teen, so I didn't have to worry about the logistics. Going on our first trip, with my kids, in this year and I want to be prepared for what to expect. Thank you!

ОтветитьPersonal item is smaller than the carryon, its max size is 18 x 14 x 8
ОтветитьGood video...but you might speak a little slower😊
ОтветитьFYI to anyone. Real ID deadline to fly domestic has been moved to May 2025 instead of May 2023
ОтветитьSome quick questions
When I get to the airport when I get to the check in counter do I have to show my drivers license to them to get my boarding pass and can I ask them what kind of bag I have and if it’s carryon, personal or check? Also will they still accept regular drivers licenses today?
When at TSA checking, can I leave my phone in my bag along with my wallet and other personal things I have stored in there besides my shoes gels jackets etc?
Once passed TSA, when waiting for the plane for boarding will they announce over the intercom or in the airport when boarding will begin, and if so am I free to go there instantly? Also do they get rid of the boarding pass and let you keep your ticket?
Finally if I’m doing round trip do I have to do the same process over again with the boarding pass check in? Thanks for the video
If I check in online do I have to still print out my boarding pass?
ОтветитьTake your time. I just flew by my self a handful of times as an adult a few weeks ago for the first time in my life. Gotta give my parents kiddos for doing this with 3 kids 20 years ago lmao. I only got confused navigating one airport and that was Newark because of some construction finding baggage claim was a bit weird but I figured it out fast . It’s really easy. Just show early and give yourself plenty of time.If an anxious person take your meds before going to the airport. It will help I won’t suggest right before a flight though. I got to add if you know that you are NOT going to be checking any bags create a frequent flyer account with whomever you’re flying and start racking the miles up. Being able to check in on the app of your airline and getting your boarding passes sent to your phone can save you a half hour alone as soon as you get to the airport being able to go right for tsa. One situation you may encounter is catching a flight during a layover that is inbound from elsewhere without a gate given to it just yet. Just type the flight number into google to keep an eye out for what gate they assign and your airliner app will notify you as well. Google seems to be quicker though from my experience. Just stay patient and be polite if you need any help and don’t be afraid to ask. Most of these boarding and ticket agents are class act with American and United and Alaskan as well. I haven’t had a bad encounter yet and that goes for TSA too. Extremely polite
ОтветитьThank you Ben!! I haven't flown in almost 11 years and I fly out to Detroit (Oct 28th) on Southwest from Sacramento. Now, I know what to prepare for, instead of being overly anxious. Your video on the 3-1-1 liquids was very helpful. :)
ОтветитьGood stuff Ben
Ответитьtsa has always made me nervous, i’m flying alone for the first time my anxiety has been non stop this has helped so much
Ответитьwould you be able to explain how returning flights work? do you need another boarding pass for your returning flight or do you use the same boarding pass all around?
ОтветитьThank you so much!!!
Ответитьgot a flight tomorrow, i'm wondering on a couple steps: if i did the check-in online, i just need to head to the tsa directly when i get there, no? also, there is no gate number on my boarding pass, from what I read it can get assigned up to a few hours before the flight, which feels... a bit scary ngl. It's a small local airport so maybe there is only one gate or something? idk
Ответитьamazing
