Very creative modeling work! My hat's off to you! The spacecraft that you modeled was actually part of a larger model: the "bomber" from "Wargames", also used in the episode "Alpha Child". Martin Bower deliberately constructed the model so that the front section could be separated and used as a spaceship model in its own right, as it was in "Dragon's Domain" (my favorite episode, by the way), and again in "The Metamorph". Amazing how the spaceships from that series still hold up today.
Ответитьlol..I`d never think of using cable ties....nice tip.
ОтветитьBeautiful kitbash work there. You threw in some nice touches with those Starfury bits.
ОтветитьAn Ingenious show of imagination!!! Your model ship is Spectacular!!!! Your use of bits & spares are absolutely brilliant!!!!! Kudos!!!!
ОтветитьJealous...
ОтветитьNice work! Great detail :)
Ответитьto me the best space 1999 episode of all all of my youth time dragons domain a superb classic scary 70s gem check it it out
ОтветитьThe "dragons domain" was one of the better stand alone episodes of the entire series. It was still a bit more serious about appealing to science fiction readers and had not become "child-ized" or attempted "action" type program yet. Your model is really great. Some of the aesthetic changes are more appealing than the original filming version. Now if you want to take a volkswagen headlight, some garden hose, and a bunch of brush-on latex, it is completely up to you!
ОтветитьWonderful job thanks for the upload!
ОтветитьThis is a really cool build. Most impressive. Its a shame you don't have progress photos/videos. I get why you don't but it would have been cool to watch the evolution of this build.
ОтветитьThe episode I like is where Dr Queller, the inventor of the Eagle Queller drive, is discovered, but the inside of his ship is filled with horrific images. Great model you made, too!
ОтветитьThanks, it is ok to look behind the curtain
ОтветитьROFL yeah, after watching Martin Bower's videos of his work for many many years I learned one think. Martin does not build small! He likes stuff with heft.
ОтветитьA universe only barely scratched into! Made me into a novice sci fi creator! Nice to know I'm not alone!
ОтветитьSuperb job! Where to find this model to print?
