You know, you can just cut a section of pipe, then split it in half horizontally and glue that over the outside. It'll effectively clip on when you put it in place. Make sure there's plenty of overlap. It'll look much neater.

I would call that cheating. over time, dirt settles on the inside edge and creates a blockage. and it will be at least as fast to get it right the first time

no way..dirty inside i normal..grease and shit in the pipe..glue does not stick on that,,,does not work in real life..period...

Here in the USA , we plastic pipe called Schedule 40 & 60 ? Which is very thick as I expect it is for underground use , no rusting .

Not a good idea, even a very bad idea. Why, as a matter of fact it's quite simple : Contamination on the inside adheres to the glued repair tube and that adhesion will continue to increase until..... that's right, the tube is clogged. And how are you going to solve that? Should you still saw the pipe open?

I would never do this just replace small section of pipe.

À fuir, coller une pièce intérieure sans avoir une surface propre à l'intérieur du tuyau, ça collera mal et à terme un morceau de PVC qui bouchera votre canalisation.

Person should have used PVC primer & cement. This temporarily causes the PVC surfaces to partly melt and then gives a permanent bond.

May work but better avoided, depends on why it broke and it's liklihood to break again in the future...old pipe needs to be changed....unless your labor is worth very little....then do what you gotta do.
