If Memento Mori is a masterpiece how would you define Violator, SOFAD, MFTM, BC and SGR?

this shall be the last one... is not bad but does not add absolutely nothing to their history and value. They cannot end as U2 that keep publishing rubbish just to justify a new tour and moltiplicate their bank account size.

Avec le peu de recul que l'on a , pour ma part je trouve que c'est un de leurs meilleurs albums depuis bien longtemps il est plus facile d'accès que spirit et mieux travailler au niveau des sons et que dire des voix... quand martin rejoint dave au chant c'est vraiment sublime elle sont tellement bien associer 😍( je ne retrouve ca que chez tears for fears ) la chanson solo soul with me de martin est vraiment tres tres bonne avec son refrain a la beatles !! ghost again qui est pour moi presque l'équivalent d'enjoy the silence, my favorite stranger , before we drown, always you , never let me go... et la plus triste depuis bien longtemps : speak to me .. un tres grand DEPECHE MODE , sombre melancolique mais aussi lumineux par moment .🤩😜

Love Depeche mode. But all the songs on this album sound pretty much the same. Way too slow and melodramatic. They needed a few upbeat songs.

Masterpeace!!! Iam glad that DM makes such good music and allways greated new since iam was an child, for more than 30 Years from now i everytime was supriced and being impressed by DM, hopely after DM some other creators had an real meaning, outstanding, knowledge and are greative and had an willing like DM, to produce such music in future, but id guess, DM is and was the last one Pop-Music-Band with this kind of spirit, new ones are not able to push Music forwarth and allways great same as new and become more limited in greations every year..., intelligences are limited, only human beings are growing... (Einstein)...

Honestly...I loved this album from the first listen.
And it's only getting more more fantastic with every listening.

Good to see "old payers" not trying to sound like "what the kids love these days" production wise but rather keep doing what they love and are so good at. Beautiful, dark melodies and lyrics and haunting synth. My current favorite is Before We Drown. Thanks for the upload!

I don´t know but somehow I love ”Soul With Me” the best song on the album, it´s so much a traditional Depeche Mode track, all is just where they should be and Martin´s voice is so hypnotizing
