Silkie chickens are mythical? I had no idea but I got really offended when I was holding one at work and asked a lady if she wanted to pet him; she looked him up and down and pulled a disgusted face and I told him not to listen to her, he’s a beautiful fluffy boi

In Cantonese cooking, they don't put salt in the soup/stew when it's cooked. You need to add salt after/when it's served.

It doesn't really bother me that you are eating a silkie as they are about as dumb as dirt my Americana Izzy is a genius in comparison. What bothers me is that that chicken was hung up by its feet. No silkie deserves to be treated like that.

In my country, there are chickens with black bone, black skin and black-ish meat. But also with black feathers and black comb.

That "wasabi" root isn't wasabi at all! It's a little bit like kohlrabi, very crispy slices. Tastes like brocoli stem but lighter and sweeter
