The Fire of the World Revolution (1917-1923) - European Front.

Well, the final version of the "Fire of the World Revolution" has been released. Thank you to each of you who wrote positive comments, pointed out mistakes and shortcomings. Of course, even in this version there are probably flaws and bugs, but what can I do, I can't notice everything in time and fix it. I tried to depict in as much detail as possible the chaos taking place in Europe in 1917-1923, to display on the map the information that I could find about this difficult time. All the sources, as well as the people whose work I used to create this video, you can see in the description (Unfortunately, almost all of them are in Russian, so it will be difficult for foreign viewers to check the information shown in the video). I apologize for the fact that I postponed the release date of the video several times, everything did not always go the way I would like it to.

I couldn't find anywhere on internet that Khotyn occupied and annexed by Ukrainian State in 1918. Every source say and show it as Romanian

What is the source for Izyum rebels controlling the whole Izyum Distrcit they indeed controlled this territory but only in December 1918 - January 1919 but not on the first days of the uprising also can you tell me where you found information on deoccupation of Romania thank you.

Even though everyone talks about the russians, there was a great chaos in turkey as well. just imagine, you have lost the ww1, your country is taken under control by the allied powers, various ethnic groups have revolted, and you are being invaded from all sides. Then a man comes along, establishes his own assembly, takes control of the state, rebuilds the army, initiates the war of independence, expels the allied powers from the homeland, and establishes the republic. Is it over? no, it's not over. he implements numerous reforms, revitalizes and modernizes the 'sick man of Europe' bringing it to the present day. we can never thank Mustafa Kemal Atatürk enough; as the turkish people, we are grateful to him.

Interesting how the Germans got trapped in Latvia twice during the 20th century. Those two countries have an interesting relationship.

People in America often think the war ended on 11th day of 11th month of 1918, but this is not true at all, the fighting really ended in 1923.

Being an average Russian citizen during the civil war would have been a mind fuck. Nationalists, Monarchists, Communists, Anarchists, Europeans, Americans, Japanese etc all fighting over your homeland.

This is genuinely insane. You were able to animate multiple wars at once. I didn't even notice the civil war in Finland until just now.

That is not the flag of Austria-Hungary; it did not have a flag, but instead Austria and Hungary each had their own flags.

Это невероятно хорошо сделанное видео. Редко можно увидеть Русскую революцию, точно изображенную на карте, и мы часто игнорируем конфликты, произошедшие в годы после Первой мировой войны, особенно о гражданской войне в Германии, о которой часто забывают.

This is an incredibly well made video. It's rare to see the Russian Revolution accurately depicted on a map, and we often ignore the conflicts that occurred in the years after World War I, especially the often-overlooked German Civil War.

Актуальненько, ведь еще одна мировая капиталистическая мясорубка за перерасределение источников прибыли вновь идет к нам в гости.

Согласно получаемому прямо сейчас опыту крупных войн между хорошо оснащенными армиями: времена механизированных блицкригов закончились с появлением над полем боя огромного колличества мелких дронов-корректировщиков, способных своевременно и четко нацеливать тяжелую артиллерию, тем самым не допуская прорыва заблаговременно укрепленной эшалонированой обороны и выхода танков и мотопехоты на оперативный простор.

Десантировать достаточные силы во вражеский тыл (со всеми предидущими и дальнейшими действиями по обеспечению стоящего успеха) – насколько это реально, с учетом наличия у условного противника многоуровневой системы ПВО? Такого опыта (тем более успешного) нет сейчас попрасту ни у кого. А дороговизна современной авиации? Кое-кто, из-за отсутствия "достаточно зубастого" противника, наличия тотального превосходства в воздухе и простой экономической рентабельности до сих пор успешно B-52 использует. Уж не станет ли сверхсовременная авиация теми самыми "дредноутами"(?); которые из-за своей дороговизны и наличия многократно более выгодных контрмер, по большей части своей незадействоваными?

Применение средств поражения в невиданых до этого времени масштабах (как колличественно, так и качественно – вариантов хватает)? Хм, тут можно и ответочку получить, и перестараться в их расходовании(соответственно, ослабнуть). И снова: дороговизна, отсутствие опыта хотя бы кое-как соответсвующего условиям; к этому ещё и "сладенькое" в виде ТАКОГО возможного масштаба нанесения ущерба "конкурирующей фирме", что это попрасту не будет отвечать целям войны (см. первый абзац). Как пример: Окинава, где одного лишь сопутствующего ущерба от шквального огня американцев хватило на непосредственную гибель трети местных обывателей. С тех пор 78 лет прошло, качество и колличество огневого воздействия хорошенько шагнуло вперед...

Ну, как дела, бедолага до сюда дочитавший мой комментарий? Будешь прятаться в своем внутреннем мирке либерального пацифизма, или Господу помолишся? А если, кто-то достаточно влиятельный поймет, что куда рентабельнее было бы (например) из тебя мыло сварить (я тут ни при чем, просто веселая частная фирма, I.G.Farben, так на этом руки грела, что порой даже ребятишек присматривавших за процессом (Schutzstaffel) в жар бросало, от того насколько лихо и качественно можно оптимизировать миллионы невостребованых (сдесь и сейчас) рыночком жизней..."рыночный гигантизм" знаете ли, максимально возможная передача предпренимательских рисков обществу, гигантские корпорации (типа дзайбацу), всестороннее обеспечение социально опасных патриотов ресурсами
для ничем неограниченой политической деятельности (но это уже при крайней необходимости, хотя всегда должно быть "под рукой"), информационные ресурсы класса "зомбоящик" и прочие, и так далее

This video is absolutely amazing. Really congratulations on the level of effort you put into this, it is astounding. I know a fair bit about the Civil War and you have managed to cover even some fairly obscure events on this map here. My only critique would be that sometimes the color scheme can be hard to read (like having the red Central Powers and off-red Soviets), but it is very very good!
