How to Fix Missing OEM Unlock Button SAMSUNG Galaxy Devices

These vids are total crap. Technically, you'd want to set the clock back by further than 8 days, typically two weeks, or even ahead for two weeks. Then if you're unable to make contact with software update server you'll know you need to set the time in the other direction. But alas all this is likely unimportant. Here's my 2 cents...if you have a PC, power off device (MAKE SURE TO REMOVE ALL ACCOUNTS UNDER SETTINGS-ACCOUNTS AND ANY AND ALL SECURITY PINS/PATTERNS/ETC, AS IF YOU HAVE SUCCESS THE DEVICE WILL FORMAT AND YOU DONT WANNA BE FRP LOCKED) with device powered off, hold down both volume buttons WHILE you plug in the USB cable that's connected to your PC. When the screen appears asking you to press vol up/VOL +, press AND HOLD VOL UP for at least 5-7 seconds, or until the screen changes asking if you want to unlock the bootloader. If you have a device like mine, this is the step where you won't get any further, as soon as I hit VOL UP to hold it down the screen just immediately changes. Lesson learned. Fuck Verizon.

Can someone help me. I'm on Galaxy S6 and I tried this method, after reboot, my developer option is still there unlike the person in this vid. The vid shows to unlock dev options after reboot, but for me, the dev option is still there. Any ideas? Btw it's android 7.0.

Just wanted to say on Samsung SM-N975U (U.S. Sprint) Galaxy Note10+, this method did not work for my phone sadly. - A lot of people are having problems if you are a customer who has a U.S. phone, the U.S. carrier locked OEM's by default. Still searching for ways to unlock OEM/bootloader, if anyone else is having this issue the only way around it is to find a NON-U.S. phone, for still do your research on your current phone coz who knows you might be lucky.

What the heck???? You showed us how to access developer options. You also showed me how to connect to wifi. Thanks for that extra little step there, coz I sure can't figure out how to turn on the wifi 🙄

So basically turn developer options off and on and off and on and of and on and off and in and off and in all day. Also change the date back and forth and back and forth and back and forth and back and forth. And when ya get tired of doing that all day long, it's gonna magically make the software OEM pop up.
