My favorite online games are PBA Tour Bowling 2001 & Alien Front Online. My favorite non-online game is the Shenmue series. I hate the software side of it so I am just keeping my GD-ROM alive as long as I can, 24 years and counting.

I have never played a dreamcast, Im only 14 but have really gotten into retro gaming since my mum gave me her old N64 from when she was a kid, she lost the games and controller so I’m getting it all from the ground up basically, I got a controller and a copy of extreme G and I’m going to get a boxed copy of diddy kong racing which is what she used to play. All I need now is a memory card and an everdrive or other SD reader

While you had everything apart, this would have been a great time to do other mods, such as the battery mod, power supply mod (either a modern replacement or a recap kit), as well as an HDMI mod!

Just one more thing, Although It's clever Doing these mods to these old legendery consoles,
eventually there's gonna be less and less original consoles around, Cause they will all end
up being Modded, Which in one way they will end up being extinct like the dinosaurs did. OK
they will still be around, But not as they once were, They will all have no disk drives, and instead
have modded boards in them with thousands of games on them. BUT they wont be like we
remember them. Technology is in one way ruining our past as we remember it. shouldn't we be
protecting these wonderful consoles of the past, and restoring them back to when they were made.

AHH! but it wasn't a flop was it. Because Saga Just dropped it at the last minute, When actually it
was doing pretty good, Had they have stuck with it, It would have beaten that stupid blocky PS1.
OK it had a slow start, But people were just starting to warm to it. The graphics were miles better

Awesome mod. Thinking of getting a retrotink (tired of lugging out a CRT) for multiple old school systems and this just makes this even more attractive. Those games are getting both hard to find and expensive and an sd card couldnt be any cheaper.

I still own mine, I only owned house of the dead. Tbh I was too young and even that game was too hard for me.

Dreamcast has a Dial up modem not Ethernet port if I recall correctly. I just know it doesn't not have a rj45 Port

The best display option for Dremcast is, IMHO, an old-fashoned VGA CRT monitor. No mods required, razor-sharp image and the option of playing lightgun games all-in-one.

The GDMU doesn't need has much power as the original cd drive, so you can swap the power supply for a PICO PSU, also yiu can swap the original fan for a Noctua fan o make the system quieter.

The best Dreamcast controller is a Brooke Wingman SD - it's an adapter that lets you use a bluetooth Xbox One controller.

One of these days you gotta try leaded solder, its so much better! <3 take an old pc fan, solder the wires to a 10v power supply and stick a piece of carbon filter on it. boom fume extractor for your leaded solder.
