I'm a little confused - how does Optix make such a difference to render speed with only the GPU option checked in preferences but with no active denoise option? (Does this discrepancy 35-17seconds, just reflect raw render with no denoise)? I've seen it work with no option checked under preferences, but never without denoise option checked under Sampling..

Am i wrong or this is a hella impresive performance for this "budget" low middle segment videocard? What i can see that its working beautiful

I got 30 sec rendering bmw with rtx 3060 12GB CUDA in blender 3.3.1 LTS. I think blender is getting better in rendering time.

Nice video, exactly what I was looking for. I've got some savings and I don't know whether to buy the RTX 3060 for $450 bucks or the 3060ti for $510, faster card but less VRAM my question would be if I should invest in more VRAM for rendering bigger scenes or better speed overall? Thank you

blender made such a good optimisation with cycles. I was looking at 3080ti but that that doesn't have much sense over 3060 as for me couple of seconds means almost nothing and viewport response is great with 3060. It only make sense to go with 3090 due to more vram as it's going to last longer. Thanks for info!
